Did you have any luck ? The Borgata was crowded through out the weekend. Most of the jackpots I saw were in the high roller slot area. Only 3 jackpots in the rest of the casino. One VP jackpot at the B-BAR and one VP jackpot on the casino floor.Thursday they had 10x slot dollars. There was a lot of people for that.I was there from  Thursday thru Sunday.  But no luck for me.

I couldn't buy a card unless I went to the gift shop and bought the whole deck. Some trips are good and some are bad.

Played a four hour session of .50 SDB at Borgata yesterday. Hit 4 Aces, for $400, 4 Jacks for $300, 4 3's for $200 and 2 other generic quads.Only got me to dead even for the session.

Car, for a 38.6 variance game, you did okay. Many would have bailed and left with a net loss. You hung in there, got great entertainment value and nice Borgata drinks, if I recall. Losing on JOB aggravates me since it's easiest on the bankroll.

CC, if you can play for 4 hours and walk away even, i consider that a victory. but, considering you actually hit some quads and could only break even, shows just how hard it is to ever leave with more than you started, without hitting some premium hand.  the new reality of VP is that it costs more than it did years ago. we either accept it or give it up. thanks for the telling the 'whole' story, instead of just mentionong the winning hands.

I wasn't there over the Holiday, as a resident of the Shore I avoid weekends and Holidays. A good friend was at Caesars who was flown in and is a big player and he couldn't even get his normal suite. I was there this past Wednesday and had a losing session. Could not get that one big hand to keep me going. But on a side note I did give QQ lessons to at least 5 different players who were totally clueless as to how to play. It amazes me how many people are willing to put their money in a machine and play with no idea what they are doing.

I've made my Caesars donations over the last year. Slowly giving back my January royal. I won't even dabble in casino DW until I do about thirty hours of Test sessions here. And that's just evaluating dealt hands, not even actual playing.
