I've a guess.  You are probably looking at your "total"  You start out with 10,000 so maybe your real contest score is 2,545.  Just a guess of course.  Your actual score shows in the black box to the left as you play the contest and is always 10,000 less than the score shown on the playing screen.

No- my total score was 22545, Note that I say "WAS".

All of my contest scores have been wiped out, and now I am at Zero for all three contests.

I'm a little perturbed- it's not often that one is dealt 5 of a kind in triple joker poker (and I played over 4000 hands to get there!)

There's something rotten in Denmark...

I show your contest scores as:
2660 (72 deals)
-535 (300 deals)
-1625

Did you replay all of them after posting this? Do they till show zero?

I also do not show you having played a session on these contests before today.  When did you have that high score? Just this morning?

Did you wait to see if you appeared as the leader after attaining a high score? The leaderboard only refreshes every minute or so in the contests whereas your score is real-time.

It does occur to me though that there isn't any easy way to veify that your score has been recorded in the contests unless you are the leader. We'll need something similar to the "nearest scores" that is in the main games so you can see that your score has been officially entered before closing out.

If you played that many hands that went unrecorded, my guess is that you lost your internet connection somewhere in there and it was unable to store your scores.

Because we've had to restrict the timeouts due to the recent errors, there is a good chance you would not be alerted to that from within the program. You would need to ensure that your conection stays up on your own in order to store scores.

I think you hit the nail on the head with your last response. i had it happen to me before. Sometimes, I get lucky and see a message from B-safe in the top score area telling me it can't communicate. They call it a firewall problem but, when I check I've lost the internet connection.
Playing fast you don't even notice you have been dropped.
I need that dealt 5oak right now. been beating my brains out trying to get it.

Edited to add.
I just came back from a nice Sunday afternoon picnic. I had not signed out. Everything looked normal but I happened to glance down and see that my go fast world icon wasn't blinking, The host had dropped me. I'm going to check my automatic time out that I have. i think I had it set at 5 hours when I didn't have unlimited dail-up.

Webman- I did replay them all, don't know why you didn't see my scores from yesterday. Here's the interesting thing...I did wait about 15 minutes or so to see if my scores posted as high score. When they didn't, I posted my message, and then went on to play in the regular beta games. At that time, I got the screen telling me I needed to log on in order to play. And I logged on.
What I suspect is that I wasn't "really" logged on when I originally played in the contests - yet somehow, my user name was there, and the forums recognized me. Very strange. I would think that if at least one part of the website recognized you, they all would.

P.S. It was nice to have a second chance at the contests-didn't do too much good, though. Guess I'll have to keep working at getting another few 5oaks...

BJ,
Thanks for detailing it out.  The "not logged in" issue is something I
will look into.  I'll make sure that the cookies are recognized
site-wide and that it does not allow you to play a game if you aren't
recognized.  I can see how that might happen if the cookie was dropped
mid-game for some reason.  Thanks again, and best of luck! Be sure to
report anything unusual.  We have a good list of working items here and
you guys really are helping this to be a more stable release when it
goes out the door.

BJ,I found a single entry in the database with the exact score you mention and no user ID associated with it (due to the issue outlined above). Because it wasn't linked to an account, it was hidden until now.Because I can clearly identify that you reached this score and apply all the necessary stats associated with it, I am restoring your contest score and stats to that session and linking it to your id.  Your previous score is back online.I am not doing so with your other contest scores since you replayed them and it would have no effect on the outcome any way. I apologize for the inconvenience in the score storage but I'm glad we were able to restore it for you this time around due to the way it occurred. This puts you in the lead in the triple play challenge due to the amazing hits you had. There is still time for people to catch you, if you see this tonight.  Keep your eyes open!
