Poker Tournaments & Trip along the Coast

Post by DaBurglar »

Monday August 3 thru Friday August 7 I will be in AC for several Poker Tournaments and to use up comps and free play (the only VP I will be playing will be using about $140 total in free play at Trump and Harrahs......the Poker will be at Borgata, but since I am not staying there I will not be playing any VP there (which, since I still hold out that Borgata's games are probably "normal" I would play a little if I found myself there needing to kill time.)At least one, possibly two of the days will be spent traveling all along the extensive jersey coastline down around cape may and heading up and around into delaware's many inlets and shores.....should be enjoyable to say the least!    I plan to explore more of the southerly coastline(s) in coming trips, perhaps even eventually staying in Delaware and trying their casinos just for the heck of it.......

Um, you say that Borgata's video poker games are probably "normal" but you will not play them and instead play where you have $140.00 in comps? At Harrahs? One of the places you are most critical of?  2 days to travel along New jersey's "extensive" coastline? All 130 miles of it? Of the 15 Atlantic Coast states New Jersey is ranked 6th out of 15 for having the most coastal shoreline. Have an enjoyable 4 hours.

Hey Ted, you do realize you are writing and addressing an audience of ONE (1) when you make these obvious and pathetic attempts to just torch yet another one of my threads or posts.  The one (1) is YOU.....no one else here cares or is as bothered by my posts as you, and in fact most people here see these posts like the one you made above as idiotic and pathetic on your part, they are just too afraid to tell you lest you bully and harass them as well.   Why would you just maliciously mock my plan for a trip along the coast?   You made yourself not only look petty but also even more unintelligent and obtuse than previously, and that is saying a lot.    If you truly cannot fathom how a person can take their time traveling along scenic routes with loads of places to stop, visit, eat, take in sights, relax on the beach, then you are truly a dolt.    And since you cannot read, I mention that I will be visiting Delaware as well, a place I have rarely been to so it will be new......typical Ted, thinks visiting and exploring a coastline simply involves just driving straight up and down and back and forth.....Thanks for killing another thread, I wonder how long the powers that be here will allow you to continue to do this?

DaBurglar I'm just trying to understand your logic when it comes to playing video poker. You talk about how good (in your opiniion) the video poker is at Borgata but yet you say that you won't play any there and instead you'll play $140.00 of free play at Harrahs and Trump; both places that you've slammed in the past.    Having physically been in 48 of the 50 United States, I know a thing or two about road trips. I've been to Delaware a couple times myself over the years.    Just trying to help you buddy...

I've been to Delaware a couple times myself over the years.    Just trying to help you buddy...you are a horrible liar, haven't you learned that by now?    And, per usual, you prove nothing with pointless empty claims of visiting 48 out of 50 states (I highly doubt that by the way, and even if true, big deal.....)   Laughable.....your point about "I know a thing or two about road trips".....Ohhhhh, wow  aren't you something then huh?     What a profound topic to be versed in.....road trips!    And once again, for some one who has repeatedly stated over and over how little regard he has for anything related or associated with me and my thinking, your statement "I am just trying to understand your logic....blah blah"  is supremely hypocritical.....why?  what do you care about my Logic?    there is no logic, its simply what I WANT to do this time around, so go pound sand.   My original post clearly explained why I was doing what I was doing anyway.....once again, you cannot read.   And what's the issue with playing "free play"?    You say with disdain that playing 140 bucks in free play, even at a place I hate, is illogical......says who?    You actually want to advocate NOT using the free play? ???

And how do you get A hundred and fourth free play?LOL  YOU are a little late (and random in your "first" post selection)....I've been back and forth to AC several times since this thread evolved months ago........what do you mean "a hundred and fourth free play?"  translate please, someone???The southern New Jersey coast line that rounds the state and extends back up into delaware and philadelphia is a truly interesting area and I highly recommend trekking along the coast and then heading across the border into delaware and exploring that state's coastline (could tell you diddly squat about delaware's casinos though.....I'm afraid to ask.)Actually this last six day stay in AC/  southern new jersey (10/16 thru 10/22) saw me briefly visit Hysterically Historic Smithville ......  http://www.smithvillenj.com/shoppes/  Anyone out there familiar with it or been there recently?   I plan to return there at my earliest chance....very very nice place!   It is only about 20 minutes (10-11 miles) from Atlantic City

A little late to the thread, but have lived on the central NJ coast since 1985. Near Asbury Park. The southern NJ coast has a lot to offer. Nice towns like Avalon and Stone Harbor. Real estate prices about half of Central NJ coast. Amazing difference in house prices once you move from New York City market area to Philadelphia market. Hope to take advantage of that one day and move further south when retired.
