I should be on the return leg of my up coming trip when I am next able to meet up with you for a drink/snack/chat at harrahs-ac and your Mccormick & schmidt hangout.....I depart March 25 for the western desert, where I hope to visit friends, family and play poker in various Nevada casinos (both Vegas & reno), and when I return I will be stopping in AC for a few days to do some comparison gambling and other things....Specifically, I will be stopping by Harrahs and M&S on Thursday April 7 at the usual time, some time after 4pm......you can text me with any specific issues or if you are unable to be there;  I do, however, hope to see you then so I can share the details of my upcoming experiences.

Shall I move on to exclusive Harrah's play? Lone AC venue where I both want to play and have not attained a RF. I like the VP carousel design. It really minimizes distractions.

Jeter:    send me a text when you read this....I will NOT be in AC this thursday April 7.  I just returned home from my (shortened) trip out west to Vegas, with a brief day and a half stop in AC on my way back via Philadelphia.      My health go the better of me and it seemed like the best thing to do was just return home....Vegas and Reno will always be there.    I probably should have just postponed or reschdeuled the whole thing, but I stubbornly persisted.....Anyway, I had a decent time in Vegas despite my lousy feelings physically......I made 580 bucks total with limited Poker action playing mostly just $1-2 blinds NL holdem.......I logged about 12 hours total the 6 days I was in vegas (was supposed to be there for 10)......Video Poker in Vegas saw me again playing exclusively downtown, and while I hit no royals, I finished up a modest 90 bucks after logging over 15,000 hands (that's about 20 hours of total play for me, spread out over 6+ days).......I hit very few premium quads too but for some reason, I was able to tread water with a lot of flushes and full houses playing mostly 8/5 bonus poker (at 50 cents instead of my usual 25 cents) and some DB and DDB (at various paytables)......My brief time in AC was the usual total let down gambling wise ( I did not have the strength to play any live poker in AC, and mostly just plopped down in front of a few machines in the Taj and the Trop, and listlessly pressed buttons because I was too miserable to sleep.)     I managed to lose a decent portion of the small profit I made in Vegas, but alas, I made it home and already feel better.   I plan to try again with this trip around World series of poker time in late June, early July.    I should enjoy that a lot I think!FYI-- When I got to AC after landing in Philly on Saturday April 2, the place was in the midst of the weirdest stretch of weather imaginable......it went from balmy humid tropics on Saturday to freezing and windy (gusts of 50 mph) on Sunday!   Made me feel even sicker!I will talk more about my experiences later, But for now I just want to let Jeter know I will catch up with him on a future AC meeting, sometime either later in April or in MAy.    But send me a text all the same!

DB I guess you didn't get my text yesterday.??   Did you correctly update the number in your Iphone the last time we met?   I think you originally had one of my numbers transposed and I thought we straightened it out the last time in M&S that we met, while you enjoyed that Pot Roast-type dish they served you.Either way, No I did not get a text from you......Here is my "for fun" email:  club_da_burglar@yahoo.com     Send me a email and I will send you my phone number again......I would post my phone number here except I already get a buttload of crank, pointless calls, even after changing it several times in the past 8 months.I hope all is well and you at least had another successful trip to Harrahs-AC this past Thursday.        I'm hoping to perhaps see you the first thrusday in May, and then at least one or two more thursdays in May (May is my second favorite month to hang out in AC, just before the memorial day "kick off" begins as the casinos and the boardwalk start to ramp up things for the official "Season to Begin!"      its the best time to eat on the boardwalk since they all have fresh supplies of whatever unhealthy junk food they are serving......I really enjoy the overpriced (yet still tasty) milkshakes you are apt to find on the boardwalk.
