Dream Card questions
I have two questions about Dream Card....If I'm dealt 5 of clubs, Q, K, J of diamonds, dream card came up 10 of diamonds...shouldn't the A of diamonds be the dream card, so at least you could pair it??? Also, if I had chosen to change the dream card to the Ace, would I have lost the 10 in the deck, like a dropped card???? Just curious...Thanks

No, the ten of diamonds is correct for the increased amount of straight draws (you make a straight with both an offsuit Ace or a 9), and the 9 of diamonds will also earn a straight flush which makes a significant difference as well.
In 9/6 DDB the expected returns are as follows in terms of coins:
KQJT of diamonds: 98.4 coins
AKQJ of diamonds: 92.77 coins
If you would change the dream card to the Ace of diamonds, the Ten of diamonds would remain in play for you to draw.
