Vegas Side Trips

Post by vpguy3 »

If you're ready to get out of the casinos in Vegas for a few hours a helicopter trip to the Grand Canyon is an unforgettable experience. For about $300 a head you'll get the ride of a lifetime and views that can't be matched anywhere on earth. The trip we took also landed on the floor of the canyon and provided a champagne and cheese snack for about 30 minutes. WOW!! We're ready to go again.

Oh my my my. So you got to get out inside the Canyon for the snack? This sounds very exciting. If I ever get to Vegas this sounds like a very fun day. How long is the trip over all? Did the helicopter make the cheese fly all over the place?

It's about 4 hours from hotel pickup until you're back to your hotel, really worth it. The cheese flew just like we did but luckily no one cut the cheese until we were down

Yes, this is a fun trip. Always watch for coupons in the various mags around town.  When we went last year the puddle-jumper plane only held 6 people! The co-pilot was reading a map! (I have a photo of it). Was exciting.  Another good side trip - Liberace Museum. Free shuttle from major hotels.
