Best Way to Use Freeplay

I just couldn't handle not using it up and spent it on Triple Play and single play 50 cent and dollars, DDB, DB, DW, TDB, 5 & 10 play quarters and Super X Pay quarters and did not get one single 4 of a kind. Bad night but a free one.. I do appreciate all the suggestions!

I've never won any free play although I have sat next to people when they have.  I'm still waiting for my turn....

I never had either. My husband won $5,000 in a slot tournament years ago at MGM and went manic in the high limit room, blowing through half of it in less than an hour. He did manage to save the other half for a planned trip we had 2 weeks later. I've always been jealous that he won that and said I wouldn't be nearly as reckless. Ha!!

Thanks! I made a tidy profit on the first $4,000 so I'm still happy. Of course I was hoping to do that with this last bit but it didn't work out. 'Next time' I'll savor it a little longer. 🙄

Congrats on the FP LQ! That is really awesome! The most I have ever won on FP was $500 and I used on 9/6 DDB nickel 10-play. I cashed out at $520 when it wound down, so I got to add an extra 20 bux to that. FP does not count towards point total at most casinos with the exception of Rampart, but also their VP is $2 in for 1 point. 200 points = $1. 2 years ago, I got back to back mailers from them with 2 nights in a suite and $450 in FP. Now my mailers are play 100 points to get $5 in FP

I do not participate on WoV, but I have been lurking there for years because I use the information posted over there to learn. I do not have much to offer to that forum. The video poker subforum has picked up over the last few months, I think it might have to do with Mr. Dancer's involvement there.

Congrats again, the proper usage of free play remains an enigma. I've at least provided information stated by Mr. Dancer in the event you win a large free play prize again. People will need to be creative on how they will spend it and find out the hard way if it impacts future mailer value. Regardless, I am envious you literally got to play with house money.
