A royal in the monthly
What is the longest you have gone without a royal in the monthly? Currently I have not gotten one in twenty five and a half months. Does that seem a bit long? It does to me. Of course Webman does not think so.

30 days. Almost 400,000 hands seems long enough for you I think to be unlucky, very unlucky.

Definitely too long. In fairness, you didn't play all the way through all of those months since you gave up early at times. But still, it's a very, very impressive streak given the odds.

I agree sir but when it takes at least three if not four to win a monthly I probably should have given up a lot sooner than I did most if not all months.

I guess I do not see what or why such a streak would be impressive. Maybe I am not impressed because it is happening to me.

25 and half months doesn't mean much. I went 35 months in a row at the casino, but it wasn't unreasonable based on the number of hands I played. We really need to know the number of hands played.
Now if you played 400,000 hands like onenickelmiracl proposed (rough number of a 25.5 month streak if you play the max hands of monthly contest per month), then yeah that sucks. The odds of not getting a royal in 400k hands is roughly (39999/40000)^400,000 = 0.000045394255 or 1 in 22,029.
But if you didn't complete all the months and say you only played 300,000 hands, then the chances are over ten times more likely at 1 in 1808. Either way, quite unlucky. But the good news is...you didn't have that streak in the casino!
I have the opposite problem here. I run great in contests here, but not great enough to win money.

Like all things this had to come to an end. I got a royal in hearts about ten minutes ago. I almost fell off of my seat.

WTG EDOG I think their system heard you complaining.. just to put things in perspective, you may remember I have had two Royalless streaks for real of over 600k hands each and am on another one now of over 200k hands. I wish I could play the contests here, but my DSL connection and the ads just won't let me play smoothly on the site here.
