Got it.  I don't play multiplier games and didn't realize the multiplier remains visible.  Makes sense...

For this week's GWAE article, Mr. Dancer did elaborate about his disdain towards the Ultimate X Spin Poker game which is consistent to Vman's opinion.

[QUOTE]
I really dislike it that you can’t play off your multipliers at the end of a session by betting five coins. I know there are players who make their living playing off these multipliers, but as a player who plays the game for hours at a time I find the regular stream of players coming in a checking the multipliers on every game of every machine to be annoying.

Also "vulturing" is the recognized term used by knowledgeable gamblers on WoV to describe these type of people. Mr. Dancer has wrote up a thread on the Wizard of Vegas forum the reason he would not vulture Ultimate X.

Wizard of Vegas Forum - Why I do not vulture Ultimate X

If you guys come across Ultimate X on the casino floor, do vulture using the buttons to switch games/denomination and betting 5 credits per hand. I think people using the touch screen will be flagged by security.

There was a 'flea' at Beau Rivage where I played last weekend. One of the slot managers pointed him out to me and on a regular basis he would approach the Multi Streak machine next to me and go through each game looking for a left over multiplier, He looked like a flea. :)

The game will need at least 3 rounds worth of 5 credit plays to serve as the finisher. That is the reason you need to set aside some to finish the session. The casinos will still get their share from the house edge.

At least the casino management is aware of this person and can take action if they please.

Wow, there are more scams going on in Vegas than Christmas has turkeys!  The last time I was at NYNY, I hung my jacket up on my seat back.  I had two white paper show tickets in the inside pocket that looked like cash out tickets.  Wouldn't you know it, someone took the tickets.  Luckily they threw the tickets away a few rows away and security found them for me.  I was pretty impressed with their security.  I suspect that knew who took the tickets as they probably had it on camera.

I've stayed or at least played at most casino's in Vegas and NYNY by far has the most scammers. I won't play there anymore because of that. And if security knows about them they aren't doing anything about it.

Playing video poker is not a scam.
