All Class II Gaming Devices display a bingo card on the playing screen. That should be your first sign of a Class II game.

On all of the Class II machines I've seen you are able to change your bingo card by touching it and advancing to the next, totally different card.

As I mentioned earlier, Tribal Casino's in Arizona with compacts have started to incorporate Class II games, along side Class III games and players pay no mind to the differences.

Arizona limits the number of Class III machines allowed per casino, based on Tribal population. Because Class II machines are not regulated by the State, Tribes can accommodate more players, and keep all revenue generated by the Class II machines.

Desert Diamond Casino in Glendale is the only totally Class II facility in the State. They appear to be making money hand over fist, and not paying the State any percentage of the revenue.

Go T/O........

That's just it...as well.....Why are there different classes of machines in different states---and who is making all of these decisions without public notice??

Native American Tribes who operate casinos do so under the Indian Regulatory Gaming Act of 1988, and are compelled to negotiate a "compact", or contract with the State in which they reside. States who offer any form of gambling are also compelled under the Act to negotiate "in good faith" with the Tribes to allow Class III Gaming, and work out which forms of games of "chance" are to be offered. Of the 48 States, only Utah forbids any form of gambling, thus no tribal casinos. Class II gaming, i.e., Bingo Games do not fall under the control of IGRA or the State, and are left totally up to the Tribes to determine.

No argument from me there, edog; Marie is the exception to the rule. Too bad she remarried her ex-husband before I called her back.....
