Can't wait for our first time visiting the Smokey Mountaines and Harrahs Cherokee Resort and Casino. Any recommendations/suggestions will be most welcome.

I go to Cherokee fairly often, (every couple months) lots of new slots, but you have to look for good playing VP machines, most are old

Cherokee is a nice facility.  Like most casinos you have to check the odds carefully.  The best VP odds are in a bank of machines on the food court side where you walk between the big section in the middle.  We play single line deuces wild.  The 98.9% game is available from 50 cents and up. The quarter odds are predictably lousy.  I think you will have a good time.  It's beautiful, but cold in January.  Good Luck!
