Hey Wildman we stopped at Soaring Eagle Tuesday and spent the night. We were on our way home and just made a quick stop. I played some 10-6 DDB at the bar near the new lounge. I realize the straight flush is 40 but still an excellent pay table.Played some TB as well. Not much luck this time. The new lounge looks terrific. Went into the new no smoking room and it is real nice except video poker is no good. Really like this casino but it is too far from where I live. Also had the 2 for 1 buffet. Price was good but food was just average.
Man sorry I missed meeting up with you, been on 8 days of R&R all week. The new Ascend sports bar has 60 machines and think they all have 10-6 DDB and NSUD as well.
The Buffet is a bit over priced, but 1/2 price Tue a good day to go. Wife and I did seafood buffet Monday night, plenty of Shrimp and Crab to go around.
The non smoking room only has one good game 9/6 Jacks.
I have a question about Soaring Eagle. We are planning a road trip to Michigan next spring. How early can we go without running into ice or bad driving conditions? Thanks!
After more then 4 hours of play at quarters, was down $400. I just can't connect on anything. I even went 2 hours without a quad, can't remember the last time that happened.
This probably won't make you feel any better about that brutal session, but according to a warning that came with my 9/6 JOB strategy card, it is quite possible to lose half the value of a royal in an unlucky day of single line 9/6 JOB play. From that perspective, you were $100 ahead.
Nice hits wildman. I played a little TTB at one of my locals earlier this year, but it's a bit too gnarly for me lol. I also rarely play JoB because it's at the other extreme (boredom). Plus getting dealt four aces with a kicker on JoB really, really hurts. XD

Well snow is gone by mid April, but the temp don't get to your liking till the end of MAY.
I was at a Soo Locks boat tour in June a few years ago and the temperature at noon was 34 degrees F. That is pretty cold for summer time.
Cold doesn't bother us. I don't like driving when the roads are icy. Scary stuff.. The last time we were at Soo locks the temperature was in the teens. We came out of a restaurant in Mackinaw and the wind quick froze us. I felt like a box of frozen broccoli.
