After losing $400 Sunday, down $900 Monday, got $200 back yesterday, it was another 9/6 JOB day.
After more then 4 hours of play at quarters, was down $400. I just can't connect on anything. I even went 2 hours without a quad, can't remember the last time that happened. I gave up and went to my favorite machine for some NSUD. It was paying so well I moved up to .50 level. After 4 times having 3 ducks off the deal they came in! I have $500 out of pocket and cash out a ticket for $800.
I put $200 away so to get out of dodge a winner, I play on $100 hit the new bar for some TTD. The place is a ghost town. I start at one end playing quarters, about the 6th or so machine I hit, hold two 3's and in come two 3's with a kicker, 2000 quarters!
I hit the road up $700 and vacation week looks better! Taking tomorrow off. Next trip will be Royal Flush Friday!
Good luck chasing the royal!

Congratulations. Informative report. I would get so bored on quarter JOB for an hour, never mind four. Yeah, basic ice cold cycle, -$100/hour. You are certainly well bankrolled. I'd be fetal position in the parking lot. But you quickly put that blip in your rear view. An escape beyond words. When a ghost town, you really must go six machines into the mire. I can't get that far. But you got the best revenge. And comps up the wazoo to boot.

Ha ha TTD. I used to play it, as my local offers 9/6. And shockingly, I hit the "triple" 3 times over a short period of time.
When that game goes cold it is the most amazing Hoover I have ever seen. One time I hit the 4000 quarters and left up only a few hundred - in a session less than 2 hours.

My recent nemesis has been BDLX.
I played it on a whim a while ago and the quads just kept coming. My credits surpassed the max and the machine was spitting out $400 tickets.
Lately, it has swallowed up $2400 without a single quad - playing mostly $1 and some $2. That's VP for you; I guess.

Poker have to agree TTD is one of the hardest games I ever played. I am hooked on it only at the quarter level, as you note, its a bankroll eater.
Now BDLX is a great game when quads are hitting, but them days when there not you miss the two pair double pay that JOB offers. I try not to play many hands on the game , looking for a fast hit and run when I do play it.
Still waiting for that Triple hit!

He usually plays at Soaring Eagle in Michigan.
Hey Wildman we stopped at Soaring Eagle Tuesday and spent the night. We were on our way home and just made a quick stop. I played some 10-6 DDB at the bar near the new lounge. I realize the straight flush is 40 but still an excellent pay table.Played some TB as well. Not much luck this time. The new lounge looks terrific. Went into the new no smoking room and it is real nice except video poker is no good. Really like this casino but it is too far from where I live. Also had the 2 for 1 buffet. Price was good but food was just average.

Nice comeback. I have lost more money on nine six job than any other game. I just dont play it anymore. Six or even 8 hours quadless several times and no royals for hundreds of thousands of hands cured me from this game of most times boredom and doom.

It goes to show you the wide variance of results you can have with these games. I have made more money playing Jacks and Bonus Poker than any other VP game. The double pay back for 2 pair is a big plus for me. I can play these games longer than any other game with less damage allowing me to build more comps for less outlay. The boredom issue is real. There are ways you can overcome this. Everyone is different, so you have to find what works for you.olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Thu Nov 15, 2018 9:32 pmNice comeback.
