I had a most unusual thing happen last night on one of the vp machines. The service light started flashing as I hit the deal button. It dealt a pair of 8s. I was playing 3 line ten cent spin vp. Before I could hold the 8s, It dealt the same hand again and a split second later dealt the same hand again. I was so astounded, I forgot to to see if it took my credits each time. I was more concerned on holding the pair before it dealt the draw hand. I was finally able to hold the eights and on the draw got nothing. I didn't even know it was possible for the program in the machine to do something like this. I assumed it would just lock up like when you get a closure message meaning the machine isn't locked down properly. This was an Allstar 2 machine. I would be curious if anyone else has ever seen something like this happen. Each time the reels would spin and deal the 8s and a split second apart spin and deal the 8s again. I didn't even have time to see if the other cards were the same.
