JOB...could be coincidence but?

JOB...could be coincidence but?

Post by olds442jetaway »

We all hate dud streaks and unlike craps, we can’t play the don’t pass line with vp. I decided to take a break from my other games and play 9/6 Job for a few sessions. Today and yesterday, I had several non paying hands other than pushes of 20 or more deals. Once a paying hand came out which was usually just 2 pair, in all cases it was followed by a full house or quad in just a few deals. Of course this considered to be a short run. I asked a couple of other regulars if they have noticed this too, and all of them said yes. I’m going to keep track of this and see if this pattern continues. If it does which I would love but doubt will happen, so much for the RNG.

In my experience, runs like this are common in VP. Capitalizing on them is another matter. There was a time when I believed I could. If I hit a quad, I assumed another would soon follow. It didn't always. When it did, I thought I was a genius. The craziest thing I ever tried was playing Deuces Wild. I played $20 at a time. When I got to $40, I would switch to DDB and play back down. This was a total bust. I would hit 4 aces playing Deuces and quad deuces playing DDB. What a mess.

I will say trying these things was fun. If your fun is making a profit, don't do the things I did. If you believe you can beat the casino, knock yourself out. Everything works until it doesn't.

Anyone who says that is not true hasn’t played between 20 and 40 million hands like me.

Yeah. I recognize pattern. Duds to a two pair to a FH. By that time, I've dropped to two coin so I can't even capitalize on FH!

Quite happy with my decision to inject BP for a third of my sessions.

Strangest thing happened to me a while back. Was dealt a straight 3 times in a row. Don't think that ever happened to me before.

Even happier today. I hit three quads, two BP premium.

3Q Thursday. I won $17 on $25 Bally's FP. Nutty clientele. On my right, a wacky lady zooming down the long line of machines, two to five hands and run. On my left, jarring Ultimate X making a racket. So distracted that my quad three was a min coin $40 hit. I resolved to hit another. Sure enough, quad threes 35 minutes later for $120. But I'd lost $120 in the interim. I won $25 table FP on eight point hit. VP frustrated, I tried Caesars. I won $30 there, including a JOB quad. Net Day: +$101. 23 TC, all at Bally's.
