Raiders stadium
Does anybody know how the new stadium for the Raiders is coming along? Are there traffic issues where it's being built?

I saw it earlier this month. It is next to the interstate. The interstate traffic was not affected by the construction. Live webcam: https://www.reviewjournal.com/business/stadium/

Unless you are trying to get into a few of the industrial parks surrounding the construction, you won't be affected at all. It's progressing fairly well.

The traffic impact study is a matter of public record. It can probably be accessed on the Clark County website. Traffic impact studies are my business. Up here in NJ, the new American dream mall next to the Meadowlands sports complex will open this summer I think. It's about 3.5-4 million square feet of retail and entertainment space. The Giants and Jets objected to the mall based on it"s traffic impact. Will be interesting to see what happens on Sundays in the fall.

They are finally opening Avalon? Is the indoor ski run still part of it?

The big concern with Raider Stadium or whatever they call it is parking. There simply isn't anywhere near enough.

Yeah, the project is called American Dream now. It is being built by the same folks who own the Mall of America in Minnesota and the West Edmonton Mall in Canada. Still think it has the indoor ski slope, ice rink, go carts etc. They will need about 20,000-25,000 parking spaces for the Raiders stadium. Depending on the number of seats. Wonder if some of the casinos will run shuttles to the stadium from their garages.Might be a way to get people in the casino after the game.

Looks like the capacity of the stadium is 65,000. So maybe 18,000-20,000 spaces will be sufficient. I think there are 22,000 at Met Life
