what qualifies someone as a problem gambler?

The lighter side... playing for entertainment, less concerned about "the math."

Yeah but you can walk out of a casino just as easily as you can walk out halfway through a bad movie. You don't have to sit through the entire movie.
That's a fact. Unfortunately, walking out doesn't keep you from seeing any more bad movies. How do you know when to walk out? You might walk out in the first 20 minutes and miss the best part. If you walk out of enough movies, do you quit going to movies?

If I go see a bad movie at a local movie theater just because I don't want to go see a good movie at a movie theater farther away then I have no one to blame but myself. No amount of popcorn can make up for a bad movie experience.

I pay attention to what reviewers say about movies when choosing a movie. Unless of course the movie has Bruce Willis in it of course.....

If all the movies showing around you were bad, would you fly 2,000 miles to see a good movie? If that same good movie was playing down the street but the tickets cost $100 each, would you pay to see it?

Suppose the greatest movie critic in the world wrote that a particular movie was great. You payed $1,000 for a ticket to that movie and you thought it stunk. Would you be mad at the critic, the movie or yourself?

All of these questions could have a different answer depending upon who you ask. There is no "one size fits all" movie.

Someone who has not hit a max Royal Flush in three years. The streak and struggle are officially over. Net Day: +$862.50! Love that town! I should have stayed for dinner. But ATM ASAP makes me a winner!

At the denoms I play, there will be no life changing jackpots. I could walk away at any time and I will if 99% plus games are not available.

I am implementing my "walk away" VP strategy right now. I haven't been to a casino in two weeks. I'm playing VP on this website and finding other things to occupy my time.

I wonder what would happen if no one played VP unless they had an advantage on the casino? If VP no longer existed, what good are experts? I am sure I am the last expert alive on the mechanicals of the Burroughs Sensimatic Accounting Machine (Google it). The Smithsonian has one. They have my phone number, but they haven't called me so far.

AC players are in the catbird seat. Just avoid HL room odds.

Do you expect The Smithsonian to call you Phil?
