Funny, I have hit more Royals on the redraw than dealt ones

I have 3 dealt royals* (one coming 9 at a time on spin poker, so does this make it 11 total dealt royals?) and only one from a complete redraw which occurred ln hand #8 on a ten play game.
*This only counts casino dealt royals. I have a few others playing on the computer as well.

In all my years of playing video poker (circa 1985) I have had only 1 dealt royal outside of DreamCard.

I haven’t been dealt a royal yet. But couple of 4 Aces with Kicker on TTD.

Dealt BP quad Aces was a blast. I'd love that rush again.

Yes more with complete 5 card redraws than dealt ones. I’m not counting DDS though since I can’t redraw on that game. At any rate single digits for all. Probably about 40 million lifetime handsonemoretry wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2019 7:38 amDo you mean complete five card redraws?olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2019 10:45 pmFunny, I have hit more Royals on the redraw than dealt ones

As a pretty close guess.....10 million hands on DDS. Most of them in my early years of play The first ten or so. 7 I believe so well below average. 7 I think also on the deal in draw poker so way way below average and 9 on the 5 card redraw so way way above average considering there aren’t that many redraws. Just as an aside, lifetime dealt quad deuces way above average but I don’t have the exact count. Vp is such a strange game. Imagine the probability of hitting two 18k exactly jackpots in the same 24 hour period. Both quarter games though bets were all over the place from 5 to 20 quarters

I have no idea how many hands of VP I have played in a casino. As a casual recreational player it has never been my thing. I am sure the number is no where near that of many on the forum. Like Olds says, VP is very quirky. I have never been dealt a royal nor had one on a redraw. Can't recall ever getting an rf drawing to two cards. However, I have had 4 drawing to one card (twice to the Ace of Clubs, once to the Ace of Hearts, and once to the Queen of Spades). Playing exclusively single line DDB and TDB, I have only been dealt AWAK once, never on a redraw. These are my casino results.

A while ago, playing 10 line 25c at Harrahs Tahoe, I was dealt 4 aces with a kicker. It was quite nice, but since I was playing JOB, it wasn't as magnificent as it would have been had I been playing one of those kicker games.
