I used to drive this....How about you guys and gals
I found this 66 almost in my back yard when it was ten years old and only had 50k miles on it. Only 1200 bucks at the time. What a ride. The perfect go to casino car. It looked every bit as good as this one and had the same color combination. This could be mine for all I know.

I had a 1969 Cadillac Sedan deVille, 472 cid. engine, could probably have pulled tree stumps out of the ground if I tried.

I'm alive today because my friends Dad lent him his 76 Eldorado for a roadtrip. In the early hours of the morning, on the Long Island Expressway, a car ricocheted off the center divider and struck us broadside. We flew over the retaining fencing and skidded sideways some 150 feet before smashing into a tree. One of the volunteer firemen who responded told me when he first saw the car, he was sure we were all dead. My friends girlfriend, who was in the middle of the front seat and not wearing a seatbelt was ejected at some point and ended up just off the Expressway. She broke her leg and fractured a check. Everyone ese walked away, with the driver having busted ribs from the steering wheel.
My only Caddy was an 85 Coupe with the notorious 4100 engine. After it spent more time in the shop than on the road, the dealer I bought it from finally took it back, trading me an 85 Cutlass, just off lease and sweet.

When I was in college< I didn't have a lot, or even a little money so I just kept buying Dodge Darts or Plymouth Valiants with the old slant 6 engine. They were good durable cars. You could but a tune up kit in K Mart for $2.99. Set the points with a matchbook cover. I open the hood of my Acura MDX today and am lucky to find the windshield washer fill.

My very first car was a 1964 Plymouth Valiant with the slant six engine. In 1968, I decided to upgrade a bit, and traded it in for a 1968 Dodge Dart, with the 273 cubic inch V8 engine. That was turned out to be a mistake, as in just over 50,000 miles, it needed its second valve job.
I then traded it in for a Datsun 510. Does anybody remember them?

I'm amazed at how much most of you guys remember about your sweet rides. I've had many vehicles and honestly only remember their make, model and color My current ride is a Rav4 (charcoal grey) that I'm loving the height of; considering I've had a coupes for MANY, MANY years

My job requires a lot of in state travel, and of course trips to AC which are 140 miles round trip. So I do 30-35k miles per year. In 1992 I bought an Acura Legend and put 200,000 miles on it. Great car. Ever since then I have bought 3 year old Acuras with maybe 20-30k miles on them, ran them to 200,000 miles and gave them to a family member. Nothing but brakes, tires and oil changes for 200k.

My main cars have been Mazdas since 2014. Outside of oil changes and fob batteries, I haven't spent a dime on maintaining them.
