It's not always been that way, i.e., being hundreds of dollars in the hole, and keeping going.

When I started playing video poker in the early 1990s, I was playing single lie 25c vp with a daily loss limit of $150. Even playing full pay deuces wild, I had to find other things to do on a lot more days than you can possibly imagine.

Been there - The hard part is when you hit a hand pay to break even - Just not fair when you have to report a win that really wasn't a win.
