I also have my wife play it. She does better with it than I do.

I have found out one thing recently. The longer you stay away from a casino, the more they court you and offer you sruff to get you back. If you can figure all of that out and time everything, one can make out pretty well with the proper discipline.
Would love your thoughts on this one. Since Sweet C and I usually play on one card until we get one of us to top status or we'll play short play days on the other non-top status card to keep it active and moving up. So I'm just about back to top status playing frequently on my card. We've average maybe once a month on SweetC's card. So for August GN is giving me $150 to $210/per night Thur-Sun each weekend in free play in addition to my weekly. SweetC on the other hand is given a total amount of $200+ one time/anytime this month. A total change to her previous offerings. I'm guessing marketing is trying to reward her for her once a month trips. What do you guys think?

So hard to tell. Every casino has their own formulas. For instance, I just about live at Mohegan Sun. Recently, though I am a soar status player, they pulled almost all of my comp room offerings. Foxwoods on the other hand, until a few weeks ago only got 10 percent of my business. So I just got platinum status at Foxwoods in that short time and they are offering me rooms except Saturday, tripple the free play Mohegan ever offered me, and gifts a couple of times a week. Imo, Mohegan made a huge mistake. I often leave between 500 and 2k there per trip. At the end of the year, it is usually 50 to 75k. So they can kiss that goodbye. Their profits are shrinking month after month. Go figure.

Yes reduction in play can reduce offer frequency. I have seen it with my own account at a local. They used to give me weekly, then moved to monthly. Helps cover their ass if she decides to "torch" the place.
