You should be fine as long as you are planning to play for 5-10 minutes.

With $1,000 play something more modest.
Guess I will try something more "modest." Trouble is the closest casino to me is about 155 miles one way, about a 2 hour drive. So it would really suck if I went away a loser or just breaking even.
You will have far more losing sessions than winning ones. Accept it, but don't worry about it. Individual sessions are meaningless. $1,000 playing $25 a pop equals 40 bets. A n okay rule of thumb is having the equivalent of a Royal as bankroll. Your bankroll is equal to a quarter Royal, not a $5 Royal.
Playing with 5% of the recommended BR puts your risk of ruin in the stratosphere. With that BR, the most likely scenario is you leave dead broke.
Losing $1,000 of a $20,000 BR hurts. Losing your entire $1,000 BR sucks.

So how did you do?
Did you stick to your 40 hands at $25.00 a pull or did you choose a lower denomination to play a little longer at say, 1.25 to 2.50 a pull?

I suggest five such hands. Stand on the last so you are sure to exit.

This thread should close on principle alone. Its a chilling strategy to even consider.
