Late session bailout

Reminds me a bit of Mrs. and Mr. Omt’s just posted bailout. After struggling at Mohegan Sun on quarters for many hours, I decided to bet dollars, but only the level needed to be close to even for the session. My bets on quarters due to my stubborness had gotten out of control with all too frequent 5 and ten buck pot shots. I finally settled down and hit this getting within 38 bucks of being even. Don’t worry, had I hit the Royal at bet 4 it would have paid 3,200 bucks.

Olds , within $38 of even , did you quit? Or as i often do , chase the last crumbs and put a very large crater in the floor?

Not this time. I knew we were running late. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the Mrs. headed my way in a faster than usual pace. That is never good news. So this time I cashed out. That said, I chase the crumbs way more than I should. Sometimes, I really open up a sinkhole and can’t get out of it.

Chasing losses is never fun. Glad it worked out this time though!

I got bailed out yesterday myself. I hit two wild royals for $125 each on one of my $20 pot shots. Luck? For sure. I'll take all I can get.

Been in that hole too many times. Good to hear you avoided it.
Just back from a two-dayer $1200 down after a day-and -a-half hit a $5 quad to get half of it back and quit. Steakhouse comp eased the remaining pain. Somewhat. Bullets reserved for next weeks battle.
