My local casino gives away thousands of dollars in free play each week. I'm still waiting for my name to be called. I'm thinking about changing my name to Zaphod Beeblebrox. (Google it)

The wife one $1,000 one night in a pick an envelope. Nice as this was actual dollars at the time. I was given $100 free play at Horseshoe Southern Indiana for Friday and then $125 on Saturday that was the highest I have had.

Harrah's Lake Tahoe has an annual promotion where they send you free play based on your history. The most I ever received at one time was $10,000. My wife played as much as me (actually, I played the same on both cards), but they stiffed her and only gave her $7,500. Probably because the most recent $100,000 royal we had hit at that time was on her card.

I think the most i ever got was 250 at mohegan. Like Bob said those days are gone and i will be too looking for greener pastures. The most I got at one time last year was 40 bucks and that is with 2m coin in for the year. I can live with the cheap free play but as my comp rooms dry up which they are now even weekdays, I’m gone too. I don’t think they like the way I play either using Martingale clone. If bankroll permits, I will play ten or twelve hours until I hit something good. Of course they forget the many times I bust bankroll playing this way. Last nite was an exception. I am posting it separately in rec forum.

$1,000 for me. $1,250 for my wife. She also won a drawing about 3 years ago for $500 freeplay which also included 10 slot machine pulls at $25 each. She got $0 on the 10 slot machine spins so they gave her another $250 freeplay ($750 total).

FP drawings are pretty cool. Unfortunately they occur F & S evenings at my new place. Winners also Porsche finalists. With scant entries, I’d just be a spectator.

When I was a Seven Stars player with Harrah's/Caesars back in about 2007-2008, I received an offer at Paris Las Vegas for several comped nights in a suite, resort credit and $3000 free play. I called the same day I received the mailer and was told it was sold out. I felt they said this to try and weasel out of what very well may have been sent out in error. Maybe they meant it to be $300, not $3000. I was not pleased with being told it was sold out that quickly as you could easily book rooms online without the free play offer. So I got in touch with the VIP marketing director and rattled some cages. They came through on the offer. I played it through once on a 10-play Ultimate X machine and cashed out about $2700. Highest I've received since has been $750 at Harrah's SoCal last year.

Nice job! One time play through is the wisest choice for that sum. Most sums, really. It’s a gift; accept it as such. Why get reckless with it?
