The Joker Went Wild

Post by olds442jetaway »

I don’t have any pics this time folks, but this is the short version of last night. I have had a very long dry spell at Mohegan Sun and haven’t hit any quad deuces in at least five sessions never mind Royals. I have started to split my play at Foxwoods. They were generous enough to give me without asking a Director’s Suite last night. I had a room at Mohegan as well. I only had ten bucks free play at Foxwoods and decided to just play dollar Joker Kings betting just a buck a shot. At least it was 17/7 and 940 for one for the Royal. I hit a quad on the second or third hand giving me a little ammo then some full houses and another quad. I was up to about 60 bucks and decided what the heck......just Martingale Clone it and see what happens. What I did was stay at bet one until I hit at least double my bet. Then I would bet 2 for the next 3 or 4 hands. If something hit at bet 2, I would go back to bet one and would return to bet one after 3 or 4 losing hands I kept the progression going and sometimes my bets got as high as bet 12 which is really way too high. So anyway, joker kept popping up resulting in hitting full houses, quads, and several straight flushes. I even hit one straight flush at bet 9 and that was good for 450 bucks right there. I never jit 5 of a kind or a Royal and my play went on about 4 hours overnight. My ten buck total got up to 1400 bucks and things started to cool. I cashed out up 1200 for the night. It was daylight when I finally crashed in the really nice suite for a few hours. Caught another hour rest at Mohegan and lunch there before heading home after wasting like a dummy 200 bucks trying the same thing there. Still, I was able to skip casino town and head home up a grand. Sessions like this are few and far between as we all know, but they are fun when they do happen.

Sounds good. Hope u have a safe trip when you head up and our schedules can jive. Foxwoods has been closing two of their casinos weekdays at 1am. Both Ct casinos are bleeding profits. Just my opinion, but I blame most of it on needless constant remodeling and to me wasting so much money on things I would never spend money on if I owned the businesses. They continue to have huge staff turnovers. They hure so many young kids who have poor work ethic. Their training especially isnt the best resulting in many patron complaints. I suspect this is very common today though.

I think Foxwoods pulled the virtual craps game already. I will be checking it out this weekend.

Nice Olds love that story, especially the "get out of town part".
