Quick mini trip report. Went to Borgata yesterday as it was a slow day in the office. 5 hours on 9/6JOB multi strikes. Started strong, up $300 in first hour. Thought about quitting, but it was still early figured I made the trip down, so keep playing. Things then go bad, very bad for the next couple of hours and I am down $800. Total loss of $1,100 since I was up $300.Kicking myself for not quitting while ahead. Down to my last hundred and figure it will be gone in a few minutes. Then things change quickly. Winning hands after winning hands, but never any quads on top line. Best I ever get there is a full house or two. Still, in an hour run the meter up to 4,400 credits, or $1,100. Again up $300 and should quit, but I've had numerous royal scares on all lines, so figure I'll keep playing till I'm back to even. Drop $300 in about a half hour and cash out even for the day. I can't believe how streaky these multi strikes are. They absolutely go on prolonged hot and cold streaks that you think will never end and then change on a dime. I know everything is a random single event, but this seems like the same pattern every time I play them.

I could never get the exact variance number for multi strike full pay job , must be over 90 compared to 19.51 job. when there is a good promo like the one coming up I prefer the 3 play job for the speed alone. I am aware of super double at 99.69% but very uncomfortable uprights !!!!!

You are right about the uncomfortable uprights. Problem with the dollar 9/6 triple play is that it is in the smoking area and there is always a lot of smoke there. For some reason, I don't find the multi strike uprights as uncomfortable as the SDB Game Kings.

After a big hit, unless I’m ready to turn in for the evening, I will just keep playing. Many times, I will drop down in denomination. Then what happens after awhile.....well uou will see in this scenario..... ok so I hit a 1,000 Royal early on quarters. I drop to nickels. After an hour or so of hitting nothing, I am only up 950 bucks. Then I say dam. Im about ready to turn in, but I want my 50 bucks back. I switch to quarters, maybe even switch games. Now it is really late and the birds are waking up. I’m now only up 700 bucks. Then I say it has been cold so long, I will just switch to dollars and as soon as I get a hundred, I will pack it in and still be up 800 for the trip. It remains cold still. Gave back another 300 and the morning crowds are coming in. Exhausted, I head up to the room and crash. I am now just up 400 bucks. I get up late take care of morning stuff, skip breakfast cause its almost lunch time. Just grab a coffee and bagel. I play a few more hours defaulting back to quarters. The machines remain cold. Now it is time to head home. I count my money and now am just up gas money plus a hundred bucks or so. I check out, grab something quick to eat and head home not a happy camper, but knowing exactly what happened and why. I vow not to do that again, but history repeats itself!

It's not Walmart. You'll give back half the RF, which is exactly what happened and more. I never play a thing after a RF. Hate coming home a loser after any big hit, in fact.

Sure you do! Just not that day. It does guarantee you'll be ahead for that day, but it also guarantees you'll never have one of those glorious multi royal days.
