To me the perfect casino would be small, probably less than 10,000 sq. ft. There would be one in my neighborhood. It would have a good selection of well maintained video poker machines and would cater to regulars. A small coffee shop would be nice. It would be 50/50 smoking and non smoking with a solid divider between the two. I don't need full pay machines. A nice progressive would be good. There would be signs on the wall that said;

NO BUTTON SLAPPING
NO USING THE MAX COIN BUTTON TO DEAL
THE HOUSE EDGE IS REAL
STOP YOUR BITCHING

There would be a door charge or a membership fee to keep out the loafers. During the day, the music would be classic oldies. At night they can play anything they want. They could keep their blenders and ice tea glasses. Comps would be free play and cash back. I could go for a drawing once in a while too. Where's my seat?

Sounds like the casino at lake Las Vegas that I used to go to. Can't remember the name, but had good food at the coffee shop, 10/7 Double Bonus and a nice intimate feel.

We had a similar situation here in Florida a few years back. Someone thought they found a loop hole in the law that allowed Internet Cafes to open across the State. These tiny casinos were mostly in shopping centers. They were very popular with seniors and they employed a lot of workers. The problem was there was no regulation and no taxes were being collected by the State. The games were lotteries. Who knows if they were fair? Dispute this, they were always full of players.

The State closed them all down and threw the operators in jail. Today, these stores sit empty like most all the malls. Some people feel like they need to protect others from the evils of gambling. This is ridiculous of course as the State sells billions of dollars in lottery tickets and scratch offs.

I would like a casino like that except it would play oldies 24/7 and sprinkle in some of the better newer songs like quote Perfect by Ed Sheeran. I would like nickel vp too with the ability to bet up to 100 nickels. I could live with a 97 percent paytable.

with the oldies how about some of the big bands like count bassie and bennie goodman !! this alone would increase revenue putting the more well off older people in a mucn better mood to gamble instead of acid rock and satanic sounding music which sends me and many out the door with a bad taste in our mouth !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A couple of weeks ago I was sitting at the Tampa Hard Rock playing video poker. There was a man about my age sitting next to me. The casino was playing some really loud hard rock music, AC/DC or something similar. The man looked over at me and said "Did you pick today's music?" We both laughed. After all, it is the Hard Rock.

I've been watching Barrett Jackson at the Mohegan Sun on TV. Is anyone gambling?

Main Street Casino? They have 10/7 DB as well as an old school coin 9/6 DDB progressive, and even a 10/6 DDB slant near the casino cage. "Fish tickets" for hitting quads too that put a lot of these games at 100% or better.
