Funny, Case. I thought I was one of the only ones who had overnights at the casino over a 100 nights a year. I think my losses approximate the value of all of the comps. I don’t count retail value. Just what things are worth to me. When I was really young for mad money I would read the used car ads, go look at and analyze the car and potential, and say to the seller.....I know the book value of your car is xxxxx., but this is what it is worth to me. More often than not, I would end up buying the car. I think about the comps at the casino the same way. As to Phil, I guess we could call Webman...The Terminator...and for now Phil must be thinking.... yes, but I’ll be back. I’m not making any judgments here. Just trying to lighten things up and put our posts here in perspective compared to the other important things in our lives.

Ya Olds you and I are two of a kind. We had planned this a few years before we both retired. We just had to make sure it did not cost us too much. Once we got that figured out we were off and have not looked back since. We have been retired since 2011.

Tomorrow we are headed for Rama Casino in Orillia Ontario Canada for a couple nights and then Friday we will fly to Las Vegas for a week where we are in a video poker tournament and and a slot tournament

Just book our winter stay for next winter in Bullhead City AZ right across the river from Laughlin NV. We have stayed there many winters in the past. It is also just 90 minutes from Las Vegas where we will go for tournaments and other offers.

life is good!

Thats great. My stays are close to home for now an hour away. I dont go anywhere till my 95 year young dad is set for the day or nite. Im there now watching Mafia’s Greatest Hits. Repeat for me, but most of it is new to dad due to memory issues. Blessed to still have him. Down the road a piece maybe my Mrs and I may run into you folks. Anytime you want to come to Ct and stay at Mohegan Sun just let me know. It is quite a place

What vp games are you looking to play at Rama?

Rama does not have anything too good. |I am in my room now as I type this. I played a lot of pick a pair (almost same as pickem). The pay table for max coins is 600 for quads, 90 full house,75 flush,55 for straight, 20 for three of a kind 2 pairs pay 15 and a pair 9 and higher 10. And the impossible royal pays 10,000.

I also play some DDB at 9-5. Rooms are really nice. Very big and each hast a gas fireplace. I have a son who lives just 15 minutes away so we had a nice visit today as well.

I would love to someday visit Mohegan and also visit Foxwood. I am 9 hours drive away and we tend to go south and west mostly but an east coast visit would be nice. One day I might take you up on that offer. If you ever come to Canada I can put you up at Caesar Windsor as well.

Good health to your dad

Rama does have 9/6 DDB. But you have to be willing to play multiline(3,5,or10) dollars, single line $5, or multiline 25c on the hot roll machines there. They also have 98.91% deuces under the same conditions.

Four consecutive positive casino trips. Keeping spirit of FP's ethos alive!

FP's ethos would have been content to lose a little bit 4 trips in a row. You are channeling something else that's better.

Foxwoods is giving me a gift card to Stony Creek Brewery. Now that’s something I can use. Over 7,000 square feet within Foxwoods. I will be at the pub with my gift card. Vman....where are you?
