If you are playing on a machine and casino workers are nearby conducting "long bull sessions," why don't you politely ask THEM to move?
I do and they normally move away. Regular players frequently act like it's an imposition when you ask them to move. In Florida we have a lot of players who go to the casino to talk. They only play about once every couple of minutes and yak with their friends. I hear a lot of stories about their son-in-law that just got out of prison or their daughter's new tattoo. Classy.

I know there are many sites called People of Walmart. I was thinking of one to start called People of Casinos. Just yesterday, at Mohegan Sun there was a lady who could barely walk due to a severe overweight problem. That unfortunately isn’t uncommon. However, she had on a tank top and shorts and her entire body head to toe was covered in ink. I didn’t see any skin. Her other half had those things like coins in his ear lobes making him look like well I don’t know what. He was covered in ink too. Some of his looked like they were done by him. Hers at least looked like a professional did them. I used to only see these kind of people at traveling local carnivals spending 50 bucks trying to win a 2 buck stuffed animal.

I don't mind tattoos as long as they are professional done. Some people have very artistic and beautiful full arm tattoos. I especially like ankle bracelet tattoos or little butterflies on women. What I don't like are tattoos that look like they were done in prison or scattered all over the place like bathroom wall graffiti. Ear lobe plugs or face piercings are definitely a turn off. If you watch the Dr. Pimple Popper show on TV, you can see what happens to them later. Unless you're Mike Tyson, no face or neck tattoos.

Casinos are not a good place to meet the love of your life. Would you want to marry a girl playing dollar 8/5 Double Double Bonus standing at an ATM? I tolerate casinos because I enjoy playing video poker and it comes with the territory. If I didn't play video poker, I would never go near the place.

Players who use the max coin button on every hand. I can tolerate cigarette smoke if it's not blowing in my face. Cigar smokers are among the most inconsiderate people on the planet. Button slappers are annoying, but at least they seem to be on a mission. Casino employees that hang around and conduct long bull sessions next to my machine. Players who have lengthy conversions loud enough for everyone to hear. Players who play while they talk on their cell phone. Did I miss anyone?
All of the above are easily avoided for me by turning my hearing aids to mute, except for the smokers. Heard a good idea on that when a friend said "If i were king i'd just shoot em all" (for the bleeding heart lib's out there that was just a joke).

Would like to express my opinion on tattoos but not here. maybe take that to A&E.

However, on the subject of moving, does anyone out there consider the affect of frequent moving on your player rating and comps?
I have broached this subject before, with a resounding lack of interest bouncing back, and have been mystified by that.
Good pay-tables plus comps is what we look for right? Yet no interest in a factor affecting this formula.
There is a widely used computer program out there that penalizes frequent moves!!
My home casino uses this , yours probably does also. WHY NO INTEREST!!

A few years ago, our forum expert stated that playing slots would up your comps. This made sense to me as video poker at my casinos is not eligible for multiple point day comps. I tried playing my free play on slots as a test. It did in fact increase my comps. I hit a few big jackpots as well, one with a W2G.

I have seen no difference in my comps switching between video poker games, but I do not play multi line games. If more comps are your goal, I would think playing them would help.

FP this is typical response that i get when trying to generate a discussion on short sessions and frequent moves penalizing your rating and comps. Your answer has nothing to do with the question!!!

Most casinos go by coin in, and if your card is in the machine, then it counts.
If it takes $1 to get a point, you are fine. If it takes $50 in and you walk after $30, you are screwed, but you probably aren't playing the comp sucking game anyway.
I fully endorse frequent moving. Anything that reduces play on negative games is a winning method.

You couldn’t be more right. I must get into the FREQUENT MOVING mental state. I blew through $150 sitting yesterday. A max SF up the boardwalk salvaged my day. It never would have occurred had I split early as that machine would have been taken. So I consider it all one grand wash. But I much prefer to move. Develop hard core discipline. It’s the only way! Military vet and traders would make great VP players.
