New Haven area Cuisine
For those who haven’t lived in, nearby, or visited the New Haven area this what you are missing. These shots are from last evening’s dinner from our favorite local spot. For those in other parts of the country, please send shots of what I am missing. Our pics are a side Gorgonzola salad, sausage and pepper sub with the best double ground sausage in the world, and pizza that is outstanding as well. PS.....don’t forget the Peroni. Sorry, I had a few sips before taking the pic.

PS.....All of their bread is homeade, even the sub roll. When the basket arrives, of course I dip it in olive oil, sprinkle on some Romano cheese, and some red pepper flakes. Just awesome.

Do you remember the old infomercial from the 1960s come on down. That’s when they were trying to sell lots in Florida they were on constantly back when I was in high school. Anyway come on down to New Haven and we will go there

If I recall correctly, "Come on Down" was the tag line for Eastern Airlines commercials in metro New York urging folks to fly to Florida.

Saw a TV show that was at a place called Louis lunch in New Haven. Hamburgers on toasted bread was the item. You must have been there Olds.
