Whining my way to GN 8/27

Post by Lucky Larry »

Sweet C and I had planned to go to GN Sunday to finish out our king size bedding offerings. Instead got to spend the weekend with our youngest daughter/SIL and grandkids including the new 4 month old. So of course when I get home from a campus late Monday, I start my normal mantra, "we could be there in two hours?!" Ms. Wisdom just kept reminding me we're going over for the weekend big gift and tournament. By 8:30 after treating her to a bowl of ice cream she beginning to waiver. I know she wants to go but is trying to be smart. So I throw in i'll give you $200 so you don't have to tap this weekend's bankroll. Got her now....(or does she know how to play the game...let's just put it this way I've never seen a car salesman win!!!) So I make the call and we pack, head out and arrive at 10:50. Check in and get back to the floor at 11:00. We've decided to not use our cards because its late and we won't earn many points off a joint $400 bankroll. I ask Sweet C as we move to the VP machines, "who takes the G statement?" Twenty-one minutes later I had my answer.

Double our bankroll and continue my assault. My next $200 in goes up to about $500 then downward to around $75. Resetting my timing I work it back to $735. Catch two quads in a few hands and I'm up to $1000 and cash out. Start with $400 and move to $Bonus catch 4 Aces and 4 deuces to over $1,000 again. Cash out. Move to an end All Star and start with $400 again playing Bonus, Jacks, DWB and DW. Down to under an $100 and then slowing down again I catch a Straight Flush twice on $1 and then back up to $700+. Now approaching 2:30 and I go back down and cash out at $200. End the night at 2:55 (3:00 am starts new day. Up $1,500 for the night with 4,700 points played. Can't wait for Friday/Saturday.

I assume you noticed that the first royal was sequential? Royals in any order are beautiful, but the sequential ones are even more so.

Good luck next weekend.
