Re: Want to hear about winning - not losers
Borrowing this TV quote from days past as I have done once before“ the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.” Are all part of the game. Imo, Talking about one without the other while thrilling and sometimes envious leaves a big slice of the pie or cake missing.

Commiserating the agony part is somehow cathartic. Not exactly sure why.olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2019 6:21 pmBorrowing this TV quote from days past as I have done once before“ the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.” Are all part of the game. In other words, "misery loves company"

Stopped by a local casino for $25 in free play. Played five hands of 8-5 JOB hundred play as I was in a rush. Lost $3 on first four hands, fifth was dealt two pair and hit 14 full houses. I never quit on a money making hand so I did one more. Holding a high pair resulted in a .50 cent loss. Cashed out $32 and change.

every time i post my winning moment the usual response is something negative. i also read on other forum sites how one mentioned to win a mere 30 grand 0.25-1$ machines in 1 year time, i wouldn't believe it myself until i started to win big week in and week out off less than 97%-95% machines i only played VP since 2016
its quite amazing to win 1/2 a royal or a full royal off your free play doesn't happen often as i like but its great when it does normally i just pull out my free play money, and last week i posted my royal from vegas off FPDW and i have to say your bankroll is apart of you until you hit the RF, Wildmans Recent post about the behavior of certain machines of their RNG engines how the Dud cycle comes and goes makes me think why the casino removed the older model machines and ofcourse the payschedule plays a major role as does your skill
on a side note us gamblers are a superstition bunch, for a example a blackjack player would prefer a hand shuffle over a machine shuffle and a VP player would prefer older model VP machine not the newer version just my preference

I almost always quit on a money hand, usually a quad. Gambling is like dinner. End on a sweet note.

That might have something to do with the fact that you usually post your winning moment saying something like "Hey dirtbags, look what I got. Clearly losing strategies are actually winning strategies!"stevel96a1 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2019 6:46 pmevery time i post my winning moment the usual response is something negative.
Kidding. Sort of.

LOL yea probably, they bit first, i re-call saying something like the experts are right and some said something like "the experts wouldn't go near that pay table w/ a 100k bankroll foot pole" and i got offended so yea i show a royal off a bad pay table and the usual reply is negative

That was my quote. Nobody said you can't get a royal from a $#!% pay table. The ones I've posted are from 9/5 JoB, which is one of those aforementioned pay tables. As said though, I don't proclaim I can or will beat those games like others do. In fact, I've been running pretty crappy on them lately. Thank goodness for the many other positive plays I have though!stevel96a1 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 5:57 pmLOL yea probably, they bit first, i re-call saying something like the experts are right and some said something like "the experts wouldn't go near that pay table w/ a 100k bankroll foot pole" and i got offended so yea i show a royal off a bad pay table and the usual reply is negative
