Re: Playing my way out of a nasty losing streak
I must admit I have never gone 40,000 hands without hitting deuces. However, that does remind me if my 600,000 hand Royalless streaks of which I have had 2. In round numbers, you will hit deuces 8 times for every Royal in the long run. So I guess it is similar to going 320,000 hands and not hit a Royal. I still believe for the most part that in the long run the RNGs will generate the correct numbers, but it seems to me and others who play millions of hands that the newer machines have more streaks than the old ones

Yep had those a few years ago and posted about it many times. Thise two years were negative 80k and 100k. Still haven’t put a dent in those two years. One reason I punished myself by driving my old Saturn so long. Loved it though. I doubt GM will ever make another car like that. Nearly 400k and the original drivetrain was still good when the flatbed hauled it away.

I really went aggressive yesterday, targeting a $250 quad and the miracle $8,000 RF. It was a series of dud hands sending me to bust baby bust. It was nice playing High Roller. I was woefully miscast.

Had about a 3 hour session on .25 9/6 JOB multi strike last Thursday at Borgata. Had $ 250 into machine and was down to my last spin. Was reaching for my wallet and another benjamin when things started to happen. Up Up and away it went. Winning hands popping out of nowhere after being completely dead. From 0 credits to 3,600 credits in about a half hour. Incredible. Cashed out at $ 900, so up $ 650 for the session. There is one machine at the end of the aisle that has the multi strikes that I have played on exclusively for the whole year. I have tracked my results on this machine. 25 sessions since Feburary. First half of year 8 losing sessions and 2 winning sessions. Down 2k. From July until now, 11 winning sessions, 4 losing sessions, up 5k with one 2k royal in there. Unreal how things have turned around. This machine is streaky as hell, but has been hot for months now.

It's a joke. He never uses that term. I don't think anyone that has true faith in VP math and randomness on this forum really does.
I swear using "dud" came from DaBurglar. One time I calculated one of his "dud" claims to be about 1 in 10 with about 350 more zeros in a fair game.

I would have given up long before 600k. I am in my longest no royal streak right now 100k hands played. This is my longest ever in nearly 4 years of record keeping. I am well over royaled for the year so not that concerned yet. Royals come when they want to.olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 10:27 pmHowever, that does remind me if my 600,000 hand Royalless streaks of which I have had 2.
