It's been a long hard road to stop the bleeding. I was on top of the world June 30th. Up big for the year and then July and Aug. hit me in the wallet hard. Lost half my profit on the year in 60 days.
The casino I play at took out 8 banks of up right machines, they where my bread and butter machines. I played millions of hands on them. They have these newer slant tops I will call them.
These new machines don't play like the old ones. They go into a dude cycle about every ten minutes. I remember DaBurgler talking about dude rates and never understood what he was talking about till these machines came along. The casino also reprogrammed all the machines in the casino. The pay tables have remain the same however.
I dug out of my hole with 2 more royals the last 3 weeks. Now at 15 for the year. Am hoping the rest of Sept. to be a winner! The new machines now have a bubble over the cards Jackpot hand pay.
Good luck chasing the Royal!
Playing my way out of a nasty losing streak

Wildman, keep us informed about the change you see in your return. Check the return of your play by removing all the royals from your winnings but count all the other winning hands to calculate the before and after new machines return rate.

Steve, I talked to many regular players on these machines. They are the same players that played the old ones the casino removed. They all see the same dead cycles as I see. You go 10 to 15 hands before a winning hand appears. Then things seem normal for 10 minutes give or take and it happens again. The old machines I very rarely go 5 to 6 hands without a winning hand.stevel96a1 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 07, 2019 5:11 am

Not only that but with this continuous shuffling of the remaining cards after the 5 dealt, I see very strange hits. Yesterday I hold 1 Ace and hit a full house. I can't remember the last time If ever I seen that. My wife and I both held 2 to the royal and hit the other three. I looked back at my last 100 royals and only hit one holding 2. A guy next to me holds a single face card and hits a royal. I have done that only one time in over 125 royals.
There are many other strange things I have seen in just the past 2 months playing these new machines. The old machines played more even keel, losing slowly over time. I have been on a few of these new ones that can wiped out a 100 dollar bill in 10 minutes playing 10 quarters JOB.
The four of a kinds come in all at once or none at all. It's still early with only 2 months of play on them but there is a noticeable difference of play from old to new.

I have thrown all 5 cards away and drew a royal flush back , known as a rebound royal .I would say this happened about 5 times in sample size of 20 million hands played, so a cycle or so below the curve !!

Widman i noticed several of the bar machines i play have been reprogrammed in the last few months, and again something feels different.
Pay tables are the same but maybe they have been updated to the 2016 change in Nevada law for continuous shuffling.
Whatever, they just seem streakier as you have observed.

Yes all bar tops including the Water Lily has been reprogrammed. Yes I would call it hot and cold streaks and the cold dude hands go and go and go at times, very strange. I am sure they did not reprogram them for our benefit.tech58 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 07, 2019 10:17 amWidman i noticed several of the bar machines i play have been reprogrammed in the last few months, and again something feels different.
