for those who feel/vote differently than the e/w coast-big city-want more gov't crowd, it can seem we are in the minority. it can be difficult to keep fighting against such an organized/clever/well funded/nasty/devious/name calling opposition. we don't protest, march, boycott, knowingly create false stories for the greater good, like the other side does.

but, it is important to remember all the trump supporters who came out of nowhere in 2016, to win the electoral college. there are a lot of us out there and we must keep fighting for what we believe in, because the other 'team', never takes a day off in their quest for power and change america.

they don't like america, do not believe in our history, and want to change the usa to something most of us do not agree with. just remember; open borders, free healthcare for ALL illegals, voting rights for those in prison, socialism, much higher taxes and much more government, reparations, college debt forgiveness, the list goes on.

Spot on Notes.

Point to ponder. How is it possible, for anyone who has been paying attention for a lifetime in this country, to be in favor of guvmint run health care? With the efficiency of the post office and the demeanor of the IRS!! You have to be certifyably nuts to drink THAT coolaid!!

They raise prices frequently beyond cost of living increases, they are susidized by congress bailing them out on a regular basis with taxpayer funds. you call that run well :?:
If they were a private enterprise they could not survive!!
And as far as reliability, i shuffle misdirected mail to my neighbors, or back to the post office with a complaint, two or three times a month!
The postal system is not the only money wasting boondoggle, they at least do something, not well but something. There are literally hundreds of gov't. offices and agencies created and funded by taxpayers that do absolutely nothing to the benefit of the people paying for them!! they only provide cushy over- paid jobs to political hacks and cronies!!
This is precisely why the deep state and the media are trying to destroy our President!!

AP i have read a great many of your posts and i believe you to be honest and rational but please ask yourself this, is your mail apparently on time, at least what shows up, enough?

interesting note; the usps still delivers mail by MULE, in the grand canyon. apparently, the only way to do it.

not an expert, but the usps loses money for a variety of reasons, not all their fault;
-the cost to mail a letter is the same, no matter the actual cost of making the delivery. rural, obscure, out of the way places benefit, but it can be a money losing proposition. seems fair to me, but, cannot blame the usps.
-on the other hand hand, postal workers have generous government income and benefit packages. one doesn't need a college degree to deliver mail, but we pay them, like they do.
-the internet has devastated the usps

i/m/o, the overall problem is that like all government jobs/agencies/programs, they are large-slow to change/adapt-too many management jobs-filled with waste, and they do not treat money/costs as real dollars.

If we could get rid of the libs and socialists that brainwash our kids in school, especially at the high school and college level, it would be do much easier. We need to get back to teaching real history and not social media BS. I have a friend whose son is a decorated marine and recently came back injured from over there. He is a wonderful kid, very respectful, and very conservative. His sisters are attending very expensive well known colleges and they have pics of Bernie tacked up in their rooms. Many of the young people that choose not to go on to school have no idea what goes on in the news unless it is about Hollywood or a rock star. I will never forget listening to some of them early this spring eagerly waiting for their huge 5k to 10k Earned income credit refunds so they could call out from work and split for Mexico for vacation and catch up on covering themselves with expensive tattoos. Many of them work part time at Mohegan Sun or the spa or other stores in the mall there. I emphasize part time because that is all they are interested in doing. That could have something to do also with the partial loss of freebies from the state if they earn too much. Of the dozen or so of them whom I have talked to, not one is conservative. They are experts though at getting around in Facebook and their Twitter accounts. By the way, they all have the latest 1,000 plus I phones.

olds, the more i read about the proposals made by dem potus candidates and the endless demands by left leaning citizens, the more discouraged i get. it is all about what 'I' deserve, 'I' need, 'I' am entitled to. i have no memory of this kind of attitude, when i was younger. back then, it was about what 'I' earn, being the dependent upon the effort i put in.

it can be no accident that as soon as society started handing out 'participation' awards, just for showing up, that some folks felt they were entitled to reap rewards later in life, just for showing up.

To revisit my earlier point about the prospect of gov't run health care. With the general agreement on the efficiency of any fed run agency or program, I ask again why would anyone want life or death decisions about their health to be made by the swamp dwellers? :?:
