Show stopper for me too as most of the hits have gone back in. I say that just so new players won’t think winning at vp is a piece of cake. Usually, we escape with the crumbs. Once again great hit as posted above on the thread. So much cooler to see the pics than just words

Periodically there should be a photo post thread. I’ve already forgotten the information too many times to count. Don’t reinsert the proceeds. Goal is to leave a winner, not a sinner.

I had a -$3000 earlier in the year. It was preceded by a -$2000 the night before. The $3k was "going for the gusto" with $1 5-play Frenzy TDB (never got a frenzy), and $1 ten-play BDLX. I busted the whole shot in less than an hour.

In fact, this has been my worst VP year ever. Every time I jumped to $2 or (limited) $5 play has been a disaster, in fact quadless.

$1 play had been steady - lose, lose, lose, lose, big win. Wash and repeat. But, recouping the higher limit play losses will be near impossible.

I hear you I was playing Tripple play bonus deuces at 15 bucks a shot when I busted. Then you become gun shy like last night where I hit a Royal on a Regular Deuces game playing 5 quarters Had that been the dollar game it would have been 4k and covered that entire 3 k loss.

$187 RF squandered $1,813 by being gun shy. Hopefully, that LLLL and big hit pattern occurs with me.

On my browser, the first picture showed being paid 400 coins on a pair of 7s. So long as you can get paid like that, no amount of extra money management rule is necessary. Congratulations!

The correct number of hands to play on a 9-5 DDB machine (97.87%) with no progressive is zero. You can wave at the casino from the freeway safely enough, I suppose, but it that's the best game they have, nobody with a clue about winning will be going inside.

That game is going to eat you up. Maybe not this time, but certainly over time. The dry spells on a bad game with high variance will be very painful --- and every one of your "tricks" to "help you through the night" will end up futile.

The fact that you were ahead earlier in the day is essentially irrelevant to those who wish to be a net winner. Concentrating on today's score, there will always be ups and downs. Concentrating on your annual score is far more important. And avoiding games paying so little is by far the most important thing.

If you want to post this on the Recreational Forum, I will stay away from "correction." But if you post it on one of the other forums, talking about such matters is fair game

stay with highest return comenseret with variance and bankroll with Kelly criterion considerations !! hey ,it sounds like I know what I am talking about , which I do by the way !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but still cant spell lol !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I appreciate you last phrase about not being able to spell. Being able to laugh at yourself is important.

Insofar as the rest of your post, the Kelly criterion only kicks in on the games where you have the edge --- of which this game was most likely not one of them (unless they had one hell of a slot club, promotion, drawing, etc.)

Kelly tells you to bet zero on a game such as this one --- not matter your bankroll.

thanks bob dancer ! I just assumed that with the slot club and cash back it would be positive expected value. as u said It has to be the slot club on the planet ! I stand corrected !

The "pair of 7's" was the double up attempt that ended in a push. The original 400 ($2000) win was posted a few posts lower and was 4444A.
