The Martingale Clone works in my favor on these types of machines as long as the dud streaks arent large enough to bust my bankroll. I’m playing overnight tonite on Joker kings. I will report back what happens tomorrow. So far, I’m only down 31 bucks after playing 3 hours. Time will tell. All I know is I would rather hit all of my big hands at bet 10,15,20 or 25 than betting uno.
More accurately, your Martingale clone worked this time (and I'm happy it did). I don't need to reiterate what we all know about betting progressions. You already added your own caveat. We would all rather hit our big hands with large bets in play. That's how card counting works in blackjack. But you can't predict when that will happen in VP.

Agreed, but if you have a built in loss limit, over time you can keep your losses under control and for most sessions, walk away with some mad money.

This time, the dud streaks were just too long. Even though I was playing job, the quads and full houses just werent hitting. I switched to joker kings which was a mistake due to the extra variance

i picked up my book by Scarnes complete guide to gmabling, in one page he states to find a slot machine run 1,000 coins in it suppose nickles (50$) br and compare it to another machine.

i might actually do this with 250$ Bankroll each on two machines i suspect my bankroll will last at different spans of time and yes i will include everything that happens within that 1,000 credit line Royal/4 ducks

what i notice about video poker this year playing as hard as i do these machines like to beat you up for 100$ or so and variance likes to be smoother its like ehh i took 100$ish from this guy now give him a break and lets bleed him slower now

i will test Scarnes trial in 2 weeks time, i hope it applies to poker machines as well as slot machines

would using my phone timer be considered cheating?

I am not sure at all that I understand how using a timer would aid you during game play.

it would give an accurate indicator which 1,000 credit bankroll would last longer from game to game
