Baccarat is not beatable over long term.
Wrong.

There are a number of ways players have beaten baccarat --- including edge sorting, seeing the bottom card before the cards are placed in the shoe and then cutting to exactly that card, various countable baccarat side bets, and in some cases by cheating and using marked cards.

If you're playing the game the way it's designed to be played, then yes, the game is unbeatable. Winning players look to see if there are ways that weren't originally designed.

But even if you just get lucky, some casinos will bar ANY player who wins too much --- no matter who has the advantage.

Bottom line, do not play for comps, play how you play and if you get comps great!
Welcome to the forum. I'm going to disagree with your statement here, but in no way take that as a personal put-down.

As indicated earlier I get real value out of comps and frequently they are taken into consideration in choosing my play.

Ask yourself, if you had two equal plays but one of them was at a casino that was offering you a TV for coming in that you believed you could sell on eBay or elsewhere for $500 --- would you still offer the advice of ignoring that offer and play how you play?

When traveling and you need a room for the night. Consider two casinos. One has slightly better games but the hotel has thin walls and you can hear it if your next-door neighbor has flatulence. The other has slightly worse games, but you get a higher-valued hotel experience. For some people a bed is a bed. As my wife and I get older (and can afford some amenities), it's worth paying for some better accommodations. If I could play with an lesser EV by say $50 a night, I will definitely take the better room. If the better room place had no beatable video poker, I would probably play where I had the advantage and pay for a nice room somewhere. It's a dollars and cents strategic calculation for me and room quality is part of that equation.

For example, team playing one account card(s) to build points/tiers; to maximize each day's play to help ADT, learning how to use the fringe benefits, and enjoy the comps. Sometimes for Sweet C and I getting away for two days in a nice room, eating free meals, having quality time together, seeing a concert or just spending time at the pools or getting the free massages (yeah...we paid for it in play) at our stage in life is just "Living the Dream".
Larry good for you, living the dream gambling is what everyone is looking for that enjoys VP.

For me I never in my wildest dreams did I think I could play VP, make 5 figure profit playing part time ( I work 40 hours a week at my job) and get the amazing comps I get.

This year so far its. Theresa Caputo (my wife's thing), Ron White, Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, and The Doobie bros. all comped with the suite and 8 tickets per show! All from playing VP from nickles to 5 bucks a hand!

Working the system is a very important key to making this happen. I have put many hours into understanding this. I am still learning every day to maximize my comps.

I had $75.00 in Macy's gift cards waiting for me today at Harrah's Joliet. I decided to go around dinner time to also take advantage of a free buffet (only cost me 5 bucks for the tip). Normally on Saturday night I will spend $30.00 - $40.00 for dinner so this was also a savings. After eating I decided to try my luck but the place was very crowded because of hourly drawings. My favorite machines were taken so I sat down at an All Star II machine and seeded it with a grand. I told myself I would lose up to $500.00. I began .25 denom 10 play AC Joker Poker. I was down to $665.00 when I was dealt 4 of a kind and I drew the 5th card for a 1k payoff. This put me up $650.00. I decided to play and walk out up $400.00. I switched to TDB and within 4 minutes I was dealt a full house with 3 2's. Holding just the 2's I caught the 4th with a kicker for $500.00. The very next hand I held a single ace and caught the other 3 aces and a kicker for another 1k. I cashed out a couple minutes later up $2,200.00.

Net day: $75.00 Macy's gift card, saved $30.00 on dinner and won $2,200.00.

I always envision mimicking TL’s TRs. But I’d still probably get destroyed in short order.

Ted your on a roll man keep it rolling!

Wife and I hit the casino Saturday night at 7p, at the 11p drawing the first person did not show in the 5min time frame, second person also did not show within the 5mins. The third name drawn was yours truly!

The promo Leap into Cash gave me a shot at 100k! I got 4 spins on a dial with 1 to 8 on it. . What ever I spin the frog jumped lily pads and after each jump (number drawn) I got that amount. The last jump landed on 1k and my total for the 4 jumps was a cool $2400! One would have to spin 8 most every spin in order for the frog to get to the 100k, fat chance. Gave the wife a hand full of Benjamin's and we played till 4am!

Sleeping it off and then time for Superbowl! Love to see Chiefs win it but 49ers defense might stop the young man. Enjoy the game everyone!

Congratulations Ted. He does have a nice formula. Go sparingly. But be all business, all in when you do go. Carpe diem or eat carpet’s dust.
