macau casinos could be very badly impacted by the chinese virus infection that is spreading. i dont know about any others but each flu year in vegas the casinos, which are already germ factories with the enclosed ventilation and unsanitary machines and currency that everybody touches and breathes on, people i know get sick if they spend time in casinos. of course the airports and planes to get to vegas also makes fluenza easy to get!

im waiting to see and hear the next level of alarm and calamity when macau is forced to shut down for two or three weeks and soon vegasand other tourist spots like disney world and universel studios will be talking how business is impacted by the virus. my own views think the modern day customs of cyber journalism make this problem worse because people get irrationally fearful without helping at all thereal problem or situation. is anyone else worried about the chinese virus infection getting to be the size of the spanish flu of 1920? my grandmom told me stories of the spanish flu and how awful it really was and how it seemed to really kill young healthy people more than others. this was the ironic twist of healthy strong people having healthy strong immune systems that actually over reacted to the spanish flu virus since it had not been encountered before. their strong immune reaction caused excessive respiratory failure and very high temperatures which overwhelmed young healthy people in the first 36 hours.

It was in 1918-19 and may have even carried over to 1920. The exact number of deaths is unknown, but estimates are between 50 and 100 million people.
