Loud talkers are a round the clock phenomenon in AC. VP requires all my concentration unless one is mindlessly single coining the day away.

And why, may I ask, would a person playing single coin bother you? How would this affect YOUR play in any way, shape, or form?

Unless you were that person playing single coin of course.....

I have told these stories before. I was once playing single coin VP at the end of a long line of machines. All the machines were filled. A woman at the other end of the line said loud enough for everyone to hear "Single coin players ruin the game for everyone else." How do they do that, I asked? She said they hit all the jackpots leaving nothing left for the max coin players. I smiled, not knowing if she was complimenting me or complaining.

Another time, I walked up to a $5 video poker machine in the high limit room. A well dressed lady was playing next to me. I put in one $20 bill and selected single coin deuces wild. Two hands later I hit a $1,000 quad deuce. The lady turned to me and said in a nasty tone, "Winners play to win!" I cashed out and walked over to the change machine. After receiving my money, I walked back her and loudly counted all ten hundred dollar bills in front of her then walked away. Winning is only winning if you profit. Feeding money into a machine all day so you can get some of your money back is not winning. Before you think badly of a single coin player, first ask him how much it costs him to play. You may be surprised who the real winners are.

I could be wrong but I think F AAA I was referring to maybe himself banging away playing single coin and then it wouldn’t bother him with the other loud players we’re doing

I still say people of Walmart can’t come close to some of the people of casinos. Actually I just came from Walmart had to get some basic supplies for my dad in assisted-living. 95% of the clientele was minorities not that I care about that. However when I looked in their shopping carts and they were lined up pretty good, They were loading up on cookies candy and cases and cases of soda and there were still cases of water on the Walmart shelves

All I meant was that single coin doesn’t require any attention span. They’re screwing around and killing time; fine. But they do tend to get loud and manifest boorish behavior that does distract me. They’re paying peanuts to play, so they’re happy as clams. Meanwhile they discombobulate those who need to bear down. The problem is no carousel machine configuration, so their incessant BS spills over into my head space. I guess nobody else gets rattled. Good for you.

I do. Thats why I carry extra blood pressure pills. The table game roulette screamers are the worst. Men and women. One time several years ago, I offered White Owl Cigar guy as I called him ten bucks to go over and play a couple of minutes at their game. He said nah, but I would for a twenty. I hesitated but declined. He went on his way into the men’s room. By the way, I hate to even write it, the couple of times I have been in there the same time as he, you guessed it....he never washed his hands.

FAA, looking at the flip side: do you ever wonder if you discombobulate other players in a casino? As you said, "so they are happy as clams." When I play I focus on the area bound by the width of the machine I am sitting in front of.
