Think they just closed the boardwalk in Spring Lake NJ today. This is because it is the most narrow boardwalk in the area, maybe 8-10 feet wide and it is hard to practice the 6' rule.

The Mayor of Chicago absolutely BLEW UP yesterday about Chicagoans not practicing Social Distancing. She commented that people were playing basketball, etc. in the parks and acting like it was any other normal day. She said that she had no problem closing parks and the lakefront, a few hours later, the lakefront was closed by the Chicago police.

Luckily have a nicely paved sidewalk I shoot most of the pics from. Too crowded for a runner now almost too crowded for me at my walk pace where I also convert to a trot for a few hundred feet at a time. Headed over there now actually see what it looks like today. Sun is out a little cool and breezy at 52° but once I get going should be fine

Here is a shot of the walkway or at least a small part of it. Luckily today I was able to keep my distance pretty well. Except for when I came up on a bunch of teen morons face to face taking a selfie at least eight or nine of them. As long as we are talking about morons, the same 10 morons we’re at the park playing basketball bumping into each other etc. My guess is the parents just wanted to get them out of the house at that point and didn’t care what they did as long as they weren’t in their hair.

I like to do a little rock climbing while on the walk to keep the joints limber. Just one more shot of our flag I took today. This is the highest point to climb to down there. The pic is just a still of the short video I took while climbing up. I don’t know how to get rid of the pointer when taking a screen shot at a point in a video.

of turkey dinners out there Never had Canadian goose before. I know they are often called roast beef of the skies.
