The machine only matters as far as the paytable is concerned. Given equal paytables you could have sat at her machine and got nothing while she sat at your machine and did well.

During any short period of time it all gets down to hitting the deal/draw keys at the right time. However, over time the luck factor evens out and skill becomes the dominate factor.

Or, on your way to a machine you could decide to stop at the casino bar for a coffee instead of waiting for a waitress to bring it - the delay in starting your play changing what might have been a nice session on your machine to a bad one, or the reverse!

Since I live in California Vegas holds more interest for me, but I think I could convince hubby on Atlantic City. Count me in.

The number of "what ifs" is almost infinite. Every single minor decision will change our results. Of course, we have no idea what decisions will lead to better results so worrying about them is useless.

However, I thinks it's good to understand that other people's results on a machine before or after we play it have absolutely nothing to do with what we would have gotten.

We should start talking about this again. Who thinks they can make it to vegas around this time?

Along with Tanqueray's and Eduardo's stranglehold on Rf's, both drawn and dealt! When is the G2E and will there be a group attending? Any suggestions? Perhaps a meet and greet with the infamous Webman is in order.

In my other thread on about my upcoming trip to Atlantic City MikeA opined how nice it might be if members of VP.com could get together.
Given that we are scattered all over the U.S, Webman had a thought of such a thing(Meeting) taking place in Vegas at the time that the G2E Gaming Expo is held. The dates are November 18-20, 2008. That would give us almost a year to kick ideas around about such a meet.
Please chime in with thoughts and suggestions.

Original post restated here.  I guess I forgot the dates. What do you want from a guy who's boat is named "SEA-NILE".
