We'll be getting casinos in Kansas in the very near future (2 or 3 years if not sooner). Harrah'$ has a proposal in for one south of Wichita as does Foxrun, and that outfit that runs the Mirrage and MGM Grand. Binion's also has a proposal in for that site. But, as centrally located as Kansas is, either Vegas or AC would be better simply because of the variety of casinos in those locations.

MAybe we can have 1 meet in Vegas and 1 in AC?
Not a bad thought Boopsahoy. Boardwalk and the Atlantic Ocean VS Desert and Scorpions.
I'll stand by for the RAM.

I just PM'ed faygo and asked him how AC compares to Vegas - I've never been to AC. Either would be ok with me (or both), tho' I'd like to see the new games at the Expo.

I've only seen random snapshots of the G2E. Is there a website that has more than just a couple of pictures of G2E? Also, whats the weather like in Nov. for Jersey? Vegas weather is near perfect for Nov.

Weather in November can be very warm or you can freeze your video playing fingers off. This past November, on Thanksgiving, I actually had my air conditioning on and was eating turkey on my deck. The year before, it snowed. BTW, I live in New Jersey so AC sounds great to me. Does anyone have any influence about arranging a video poker tournament either in Vegas or AC for that time???? Valerie

Thanks Valden. I live in Calif. and have gone as far as Fla. and tri-boroughs in NYC. Xmas day at Grand Central Station, I froze my butt off stepping out for a cab.

A week at the Showboat!!!!!! I get two nights comped at Borgata and can barely stay the second night. Do you gamble all day. I'd be happy winning a thousand dollars a couple of times. Even in Vegas I could barely do three nights. I actually get casinoed out after a while. I think it's too much glitz and glitter, overstimulated and lack of sleep. I once saw Johnny Carson in Vegas many many years ago and he had a line that went "you can always tell when the tourists have been here too long, they get that glare in their eyes and they mumble look, see, play do, look, see, play, do.
