This time of the year, I will take the blue crabs, nice fresh saltwater fish, and hot dogs. I know they will kill me, but gotta grill up a few every so often. I don’t know what I would do if If I had to make them from scratch though.

Ok you guys did it. Heading up to Mohegan tonite for an overnight with the Mrs. but as soon as I get back, unless they have them up there, its going to be dogs, Peronis, maybe some Bratwurst, and deviled eggs. I may be getting a bit off topic, but if anybody wants to make the best and easiest deviled eggs, it’s just the egg yolks, mixed with Sandwich man horseradish sauce and Nathans spicy brown Coney Island mustard, then stuffed back into the split egg. Use a bit more of the sauce than the mustard. It will feel like 1957 all over again. I top with blackbpepper, but either leave as is or add paprika. The vinegar in the mustard and horseradish sauce makes it

Ah, a fellow ketchup-on-dogs man. We do get our share of abuse don't we?

I am not afraid to shout it aloud: "I PUT KETCHUP ON MY HOT DOGS AND I LIKE IT!!!!"

The true "Chicago Style" hot dog is just a tad too busy for me. Ketchup and onions on it and I'm a happy guy.
