The Bay of Pigs was an operation started under the Einsenhower administration that trained Cuban exiles to invade Cuba. The Cubans training in Florida were told they were one of a half dozen groups being trained but in reality they were the only one. The CIA expected that once the men invaded and were attacked by Cuban troops, the US Government would have no choice but to intervene. The CIA figured it was win-win. Either the new Kennedy administration would intervene and overthrow Castro or Kennedy would be held responsible for an unmitagated disaster. To their shock, the American people responded with a yawn.
So who gives out the prestigious "Bay of Pigs" award and what are the qualifications to be nominated.

according to an article/data, from cnbc.com, titled PANDEMIC FATIGUE, many european countries are seeing sharp increases, not only with infections, but hospitalizations, as a result of chinese virus. the number of new cases in some countries is greater than in the spring, when it hit it's peak.

this cannot be true. we have been told, almost programmed to believe that european countries are better than us, and certainly their leaders are smarter than trump. it must be a mistake. france and spain's new cases is almost double that of usa, per 1 million of population.

many dems/liberals/trump haters touted complete shutdowns as the only answer. there were others though, that warned about other dangers that can result, from shut downs. now, we are seeing some. and, they don't include the effects from additional drug addictions, less cancer screenings, financial ruin, suicides, lack of human contact deprivation, etc. as trump said , the cure could be worse than the disease.

on another thread, i have mentioned targeting specific groups for protection, while letting others live a more normal life. but, the left/dems/media, in an effort to cause as much pain as possible to as many people as possible want broad shutdowns. anything to hurt trump.

they don't care about you, only getting rid of trump.

NBC/Marist has Biden by 8 points in Michigan and most importantly, trailing badly with white women, a group he won pretty handily in 16. Two most important concerns of women polled were the virus and healthcare.

Whew! Just in time! Trump has won the endorsement of the American Tax Evaders Organization. This may very well put him over the top. You go, Donald!

My poll is still the market. Up over 400 today. There are negatives on both sides. I think most people will decide last minute. If not most people enough to put one over the top as they cast their votes. To me the two biggest negatives are....Biden- picking a radical liberal socialist meaning Harris to run with. Trump....not what he has done regarding the virus, but what comes out of his mouth sometimes regarding masks, denials and such like shooting from the hip regarding the science.
