Movies you can't not watch

Post by Carcounter »

Ok, time for a new subject. There are some movies I have to click on even though I have seen them dozens of times. Can't help myself. Goodfellas is number 1. Also Casino, Rainman, Rounders, and any Bond movie with Sean Connery. Anyone else have this problem?

Silverado. Battle of the Bulge, Kelly's Heroes, The Longest Day.
It's a Wonderful Life.
I used to put The Jewel of The Nile in this group, but it slid down the list.

In addition to Carcounter's list:
Tombstone
True Lies
Happy Gilmore
Anything with Clint Eastwood
Any Mel Brooks movie
Any WWII movie
The Sound of Music
I'll watch a Roger Moore Bond as well, or even that Lazenby fellow.

I’ll watch Rat Pack movies just for the interaction of real life friends. Italian neorealism and French new wave fare.

One more. And Justice for All. Loved Jack Warden as the suicidal judge. Al Pacino's rant in the courtroom at the end was classic.

All great ones guys. I am sticking to a recommendation i read awhile back by an 80 year old reflecting on his life. He vowed to never again watch a movie he had not seen before.

I would describe it like this
1) Revolver
2) Big jackpot
3) Card money
4) Sherkoli and only then rock and roll

I'd like to add Big Trouble in Little China to my list. Just the sheer madness of the film fascinates me.

Rainman was on ThisTV, Saturday night as I was going to bed. Turned it on right as they enter Caesars Palace. "Nobody can count down a 6 deck shoe."
