to clwn2: You mean signing up for a players card won't get you a t-shirt anymore? Daggone Indians"Paradise" or "Pair-o-dise" (not sure about the name) in Redrocks, Oklahoma (the one I was telling you about) just started a player's club a few months ago.  Signing up for it got me a crisp $10 bill.  Actually, they gave me a coupon to take to the cage where it was exchanged for the money.  After looking around for the VP machines, I was tempted to take the $10 and run!  But, I played nickel DDB on a very short pay table and hit Quad Aces with the kicker before I went through that $10.  We left the casino with me up $100.00.  Better than a tee-shirt!

The Atlantis in Reno now has a bank of full pay machines in order to compete with the Peppermill.

I'd send out my free t-shirts and we could divvy up the booty.I've no idea how many hats I've gotten. I usually give em away. One exception was the player club package for South Coast. Hat, mouse pad, beverage holder and t-shirt. South Coast is now Southpoint so it's a (somewhat) collecters item(s). I've gotten stuff from Stardust and Frontier also but liked to have had items from the Sands. Too much on EBAY.

A Casino T-Shirt or Cap is of little value. Now, a VP.com  T-Shirt or Ball Cap is worth millions.

I have made it a point over the years to secure one way or another, a $1 poker chip from the casinos I've played at whether VP or BJ.  I have accumulated an embarrassing number of chips and metal tokens from the tables.I've never placed much value on the Player's Club offerings, though I do have quite a collection of coffee mugs!  Those see a lot of use!
