Ah, yes. That’s what Olds says too. If only the converse were true. Bank account could use the infusion.

I'm a Nike guy. Preferred Converse All-Stars in 7th grade though.

Converse were indestructible. Great sneaks. Never played an 8th grade basketball game without them. At 5’8”, I was tall enough to play center. Of course by High School, the kids shot up past me. Now, I’m 5’6…..😬

I certainly know that feeling. I am now 5'8, down almost 3 inches from where I once was. Actually, though, I haven't really lost those inches - I just moved them to my waist!

🤣. And I added 5. My old fighting weight was 148, 42 chest 31 waist. I still have the 42, but now 36….. working on it though. 😬

5’6” and 36W is a L. Lengthen parking lot walks ASAP. The best exercise is still pushing away from the table. I’m Drew Brees, but in his current state.

I have a pair of medium high Chuck's which I bought about 7-8 years ago. The wife laughs and says I'm out of style. Then on our trip, I pointed out how many others were wearing them (a lot-even the girl right across the aisle on the plane). She countered and said but they're all kids. I said so am I when I have the All-Stars on.

Chuck's Never go out of style. Me perhaps, but not Chuck. Maybe indestructible, but absolutely no support and uncomfortable as someone watching you over your shoulder play VP at Caesars.

As far as waistline, been a 32 for 32 years. Snug at times & a little loose at others, but it's a built in weight regulator.

Moderate night outside, but hot inside. I arrived as my 93 year old AC resident acquaintance hit an $8,000 JOB RF. I had completely overlooked his carousel. The $2 denomination was too rich for me anyway. He said that he had started with a paltry $200. Unfortunately, the silver fox is still a cool -$10K on the year.
Two hours later, a hick from French Lick was dealt quad Aces and kicker for $4,000. An hour later, a trio left the area grumbling about his good fortune. As always, photos upon request.

Tree and casino trimmings. I don’t wish to be a bother. A simple business envelope with a jackpot check shall suffice. I can even redeem some RCs steps away at Gordon Ramsay and fully admire the lobby.
