If someone plays Jacks or Better and Double Double Bonus, are there any casinos in A.C. with a pay table better than 8/5?  I am usually at the Trop or Hilton and there aren't any other casinos within easy walking distance.  I also know a lot of the regulars in A.C. play Joker Poker for some unknown reason, and you find many more of those machines.  I've heard about one or two machines at certain casinos with 9/6, but you know they are always full.  Thanks for any help.

Ac Hilton has 9/5 DDB at the .25 level on multi denom machines. They are in the raised tier near the Boardwalk entrance. DW was short pay. They have some STP in the same area but didn't check them out.
The High limit area has 9/6 DDB and 9/6 JOB in $5 and &2.
 
Both these areas are smoking. Don't ask me what they have in Non-Smoking.
 
AC Joker Poker although a very high varience game can be lucrative  because it pays 4000 for 5OAK and not a Royal. A much more frequent occurance. The Spin Poker progressives in $.05 can keep you entertained for most of the day on a couple of hundred. And if you get lucky and hit 5 Aces across the board take home a sizeable jackpot usually $25Gs and up.
 
Trump Marina does have 9/6 DDB and 9/6 JOB in $.25

If you stay at anyone of the Trump casinos they have a free shuttle to their other casinos.
Don't think Hilton shuttles between the Hilton and Resorts?

Hey Trop23, We were in AC in Nov. at Caesars with walkway to Ballys. Free shuttle between HARRAH'S properties. Jitney's (small, older buses) run continuously in huge loop between casinos, $2. each ride, exact change required. Ask how late they run. Not publicized but there is sidewalk between Harrahs and hot new Borgata along street and you can walk that far-we didn't. When I applied for Black Label slot card at Borgata, Nov 9, and showed Harrah's Diamond Reward Card (or similar status card might work) I received $100 free play that could be split up and used on different VP machines.  Just enter a fraction at a time, as $20. in case you decide to change machines. Hope that is still in effect for you. I would return to $1 DDB at Ballys, end machine, right hand side. I recovered losses of 3 days +, in an hour before we left, with many quads. Probably 9/6. Never give up, just keep putting $ in! Have fun - good luck!

Bally's @ ParkPlace has the best VP in AC by far. Although not a huge selection it is still the best choice. Believe me I know. Sadly and shamefully however, they have cut back on some of the better games such as, BP/$1 and the only full-pay Pick 'em Poker/$1. 
There's a bank in the smoking sectionwith about five full-pay GameKing machines: BP; DDB, JB and some others with multi-screen/$1-$2.
 In the non-smoking section down towards the Boardwalk exit and to the right, there's another bank with BP/$1, DW and DB.
In WWW stay away from Little Joe's. The once great VP parlor has been "remodeled". In essence what they've done is take out all the full-pays and replaced them with the cheap stuff. (This is where I hit my first RF on 9/6JB...so much for nostaglia.)

You don't mention what denom you play, but if you play $ 1. or better, the good news is that you can find 9/6 JB at any of the Trump props or at the Borgata.  There are also some to be found at the Harrah props as well.  In other words, just about anywhere other than where you've been going.  The bad news is, if you are playing for .25, the only place I've ever seen 9/6 JB is at Ballys and as you can imagine, they are very, very popular.  GOOD LUCK !!!

Showboat has over 25 machines with quarters 9/6 JOB, also 8/5 bonus, non-progressive. The Hilton does have a bank of 8/5 bonus with a progressive in triple play; hit a Royal on middle line, meter was at $1,199, bad luck was that I pulled a pair of jacks on line 3 and had to have a w-2!

Just to let everyone know the Atlantic City council just passed a complete smoking ban for all casinos. This vote occured this evening.
You will not catch me dead in AC from this point forward.
 
If anyone is intersted the Meadows Casino in Washington Pa. has the best in VP including 9/6 machines. I have had more success there thaqn any AC casinos.
 
We found the best paying machines right now are the Triple Play multi games. If you play .25 per hand at any fomat whether it is Dueces Wild up to Double Double bonus you will have a good day.
 
The Dollar 96 VP machines near the center dollar slot area have been paying well lately.
