Jstark let me know if you can do a day trip this way. Some Indian casinos in northern MI closing, Kewadin on Wednesday and Little River closing tonight at 10p. I think the Governor might get to the rest at some point.

We're at about 3 weeks now. My guess is Spring 2021 before a reopen. They probably won't reopen until they go below 12% positivity again (up from an old 8% threshold), and that probably isn't happening until maybe spring at the earliest.
Why spring? Because many people seriously don't give a crap about the restrictions. They just wear a mask in public and go on like business as usual. And they still go out (especially young people) and visit family and friends. And I'm sure a bunch of people don't wear a mask around family and friends. Especially when you're eating around them obviously.
I haven't gone to a casino since Illinois reclosed. I maybe will go to Indiana at some point since it's non-smoking/no consumption, but meh, I don't miss it that much tbh. I did go to Joliet a few days before the closure to get CET points on my card.
Hit this too, so a good day.
I feel like Illinois roughly has a decent idea on restrictions, but when no one voluntarily stays home on top of it, it can only do so much. I think Illinois residents have been VERY LAX about following guidelines except to wear a mask indoors.

Did they give you the normal hassle for picking off multipliers?

Actually we are at 2 weeks now and not 3. The latest Illinois closure became effective 11/20/20, one week would get us to 11/27/20, and two weeks would get us to 12/04/20.Vman96 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 04, 2020 11:07 amWe're at about 3 weeks now. As for Illinois residents being VERY LAX about following guidelines except for wearing a mask outdoors I would wonder if Illinois is the only state who may fall into this VERY LAX category or are there others? It is an odd comment coming from someone who just moved to the Illinois Chicago area less than a year ago and for the higher wages here no less.
I may be quick to fault Illinois for some missteps caused politically but I am also quick to come to her defense. I will end with: the road does lead back to Missouri and the bridges over the Mississippi River heading west and south out of Illinois are not closed.

Mohegan Sun has lots of partial mask droppers. Whenever I see them especially near me, I either ask them once semi politely or get security. Mohegan Sun trys, but sometimes as soon as security leaves they drop it again. I got at least one A hole ejected so far for lying and giving security grief. They watched him from a distance, saw what he was pulling, and threw him out. No idea if he got banned though. I do know a couple of high rollers who refused to wear masks period did get banned. Of course they thought they were entitled to soecial treatment.
